  • A nice surprise
This mini juniper bonsai was actually better than I thought it would be. It came in a nice small oval pot and had a healthy look and shape. I was concerned about how it would be packaged but there were enough styrofoam pellets in a big box that protected it well. The photo is one week out of the box. I added the extra rocks. Very satisfied with the purchase! ... show more

  • Good Bonsai, Bad Customer Service
The Bonsai was small but nice, though I should have read the reviews more carefully. I placed my order on 12/18/23 and paid $12.97 for expedited shipping to get it for my son by Christmas, just to be informed on 12/21 (the day it was due to be delivered) that my order would be delayed, and I wouldn't receive it until 12/28/23. I could have paid $5.99 in shipping and got it the same day. I was very angry because I didn't have a gift for my son on Christmas day and I should've been reimbursed the difference on the extra shipping cost since it was their fault that I didn't get my purchase on time. I won't buy from this company again. Lesson learned. ... show more

  • Bonsai loosing leaves

  • Japanese juniper bonsai.
The tree arrived in a box. Not marked in any this side up. The soil was packed very tight. Loosened the soil. Looked at the foliage, it is green but seems brittle to the touch. Roots of the tree showed no signs of obvious disease. Put a small amount of time released fertilizer in the soil. Watered the plant. Placed a large plastic bag over the juniper tree and pot. I placed the bonsai outside in shade with some morning sun. Hope to see some signs of new growth. I will update in a week. So far so good. End of first week with my bonsai. I left the humidity bag (plastic bag) over plant in partial shade for 24 hours. The foliage became more pliable and looked much more healthy. Put the plant in mostly full sun. Watered when soil was dry (watered throughly). After 3 days started to see new branch buds near the first branch. Spraying the foliage daily with water. Started a feeding routine today with 1-1-1 liquid plant food (fertilizer). Plant doing well responding well to treatment for extreme plant shock signs and symptoms. Week two: During week two my small bonsai was the victim of a natural disaster. A thunderstorm with very strong winds blew over the plant stand and the pot and plant were cast to the ground. The tree was thrown out of the pot. Fortunately I was home and able to act quickly to rescue the plant. I clean the roots of the old potting soil and debris. I cleaned the foilage of all debris. Cleaned the pot of old soil and debris. Prepared the pot and repotted the plant. I purchased bricks to place under the feet of the plant stand. I wired the stand to the bricks. Wired the pot to the stand. The repotting seems to have been a success. The plant is still green. I'm sure that it added additional stress to the already stressed plant. Have the plant outside in partial sun. Watering when soil is mostly dry about every other day. So far so good. Remaining hopeful for the survival of the small juniper. Week 3: The juniper is doing well. Still green and showing signs of good health. Have been watering when the soil feels dry. Using a 1--1-1 liquid plant foot weekly. Misting the foilage in the early morning and late in the evening. I gave one treatment with super-thrive. The little juniper is doing well so far. Week 4: The juniper is doing well. Still green and even showing new beds. Been watering when the soil is dry. Watering throughly when watered. Been misting the foilage in the early mornings and late in the evening. These junipers are usually hardy little trees. I will let it grow this year and repot in a semi cascade pot next spring. I haven't wired the tree yet. I may wait until after it is established in the semi cascade pot before wiring. Bonsia is a slow process that is art along with the wonders of mother nature. ... show more

  • Give this tree a chance! It's pretty!
So I want to start with.. No this tree was not what I was expecting at first. I was thinking this can not be what I ordered... it look nothing like the picture. Very small! The picture in away can be misleading. But let me say this... I have grown to adore this little tree!!! I watched so many videos on this type of tree and looked through so many sellers and stores! Then I came across this place... i seen the picture and had my heart set on the picture. That's the worse thing you can do... but please please give this tree a chance. I was so nervous about ordering a tree offline. This place packaged this tree so well!!! I was shocked! Like I said No it wasnt what I was expecting at first. But I have grown so much love for the little bonsai tree! It's so cute and little and make you smile in a odd way just watching it. So please dont knock this little tree when it arrives to you! Give this little bonsai tree a chance! The care is so very easy and simple from what I have seen and learned so far. Watch the videos on YouTube. Ask questions if you need to contact the seller about the tree. This little tree is so pretty! Do NOT over water this little tree!! ... show more

  • Nope
We knew it was going to be small, but we were not expecting it to be tiny, plus the tree itself, however tiny, does not resemble the pictures. Packaging was also an issue, the box was just filled with packing peanuts without offering any holding in place for the tree so it was all smashed. The box itself did not have arrows to point for the correct orientation when handling, which I am sure resulted in additional damage to the tree itself. And it did not come with caring instructions. So we just sprinkled the tree and soil with a few drops of water until we figure how to care for it. We know it was not a lot of money, but still. We will keep it because as a living thing it would be further damage if we try to return it. Plus we don't even know if it is an option. ... show more

  • Beautiful little Juniper Tree!
I bought it as a gift for my daughter. It arrived in a well-protected box. I was surprised that the tree already had a pretty shape. Cheers all the way around!
