Money Tree features solid, green foliage. The Money Tree is great for small spaces. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place Money Tree in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1/2 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Money Tree sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at delivery is approximately 10-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Money Tree arrives in a 4-inch ceramic planter. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. The Money Tree is a moderate grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Money Tree, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zone 10-12.Be aware of third-party sellers; other companies try to imitate our quality. I am icluding this review next to the one July 22nd becausd thd system does not recognize I bought another one and I have no more words to describe its beauty. I will call the Farm and express again the joy I feel from their tender loving arms to mine. I.am so pleased with this tree from the Costa farms. I ordered two before in the winter, they were beautiful but this one that just arrived yesterday it knocked me to the floor.     • Found root rot after 5 months

This plant arrived beautifully. Really loved it. Had noticed a few weeks after receiving it that some of the leaves had started to turn brown and fall, I figured it was from the shipping process and just needed time to acclimate. I recently moved cross country and couldn’t bring any of my plants with me, but I’ve had many plants at a time. So even though I can’t call myself a totally verified green thumb yet, I am really good with plants. I love to take care of them and plants are just beautiful in general. I bought this one in May for a birthday present for myself. Around august I started noticing it really not doing too great. Did all the things I could, looked up info on this particular plant. I had hopes I could save it. It’s now November when I’m writing this, I’ve been really busy and stressed (who isn’t lately?) and didn’t remember to write a review before today. My plant has rotted. And I did not overwater it. I suspect it’s been going on since I received it, but now when I just touch the bottom of the plant it is completely soft and squeeezable about 4 inches up. Like I said, it’s been like this since at least last month, maybe before then, when I could feel the soft squishy-ness of the plant. So basically my plant is dead. I only remembered to write this review now because I have to sadly bury it. I didn’t want to write a review right away either because things like plants take some time to properly review. I’m really very saddened by this. It’s past the return window, my bad on that part. I know that even the plant pros still have issues with some of their plants. But I had bought myself this particular happy birthday to me plant as a reminder of hope that one day things will get better and for good luck. I realize this could just be a me issue with this plant, that I received a “bad” one as that happens with all products sometimes, and not an issue with the quality of all the plants from this company. Sadly, I was really looking forward to buying more plants from this company because I don’t have access to nurseries close to me, I live very rural now, out in the middle of nowhere and can’t just get a quick ride to purchase plants. I was hoping this plant would work out so I could build up my plant collection again and in my new home. 1st time homeowner and I’m over 40. I’ve always wanted to turn a room into a library/indoor greenhouse and was planning to here and was just starting. It makes me extremely sad that I won’t be able to take the chance to purchase from Costa Farms again. Was really looking forward to putting plants literally everywhere in my home, I’m talking 50+ jungle status. Lol. And I have a huge wishlist of plants I wanted from them and they seem to be the biggest plant company on Amazon with the best reviews. Hopefully it was just a one time thing with me and I just received a “bad” plant and not an issue with the company’s products as a whole. I tried to look up contact info so I could talk with the company before writing this but can’t seem to find anywhere to reach them privately. UPDATE: I reached out to Costa about the horrendous state my plant was when it arrived. They were kind in their response, and immediately sent out a replacement plant. It arrived yesterday, and it is in perfect condition, save a couple of (expected) broken leaves from shipping. It's fully alive and well, and looks waaaaaaay better than the first plant I received (which continues on its death march - I'd hoped the small part that appeared still alive would fight to live, but alas and alack, it's continuing to die off). I am VERY happy with the replacement plant, it looks very healthy (no brown leaves, no funky smell) so I'm very confident it will continue to thrive. Major kudos to Costa's guarantee - they do indeed honor it, so for those that have also had the bad luck of getting a bad plant, be sure to reach out to them and they will make it right. Changing my rating to 5 stars. Thank you, Costa! Original Review: Disappointed that the money tree arrived half dead and sickly. Half the leaves are shriveled - but not dry shriveled like they were out of water too long, but wet shriveled like they were kept in the dark with too much moisture for too long, if that makes sense. The healthiest of the leaves were broken clean off. The plant overall looks super sad and definitely not good. I reached out to Costa to find out what my options are since this is not returnable to Amazon, but Costa supposedly has a guarantee. I've gotten radio silence on their end. Not happy. Will revise this review if I ever hear from them on this fiasco. I bought 3 plants at the same time from Costa - the other two are perfect, this one is the problematic/dead one.
