Description
Native to Cameroon in West Africa, this shrub wetland species of plant is known for is stability and tranquility. These ornamental plants bring fortune and happiness to anyone who keeps them in their home or work place. The stalks are braided and twist to form a unified thick stem. In their natural habitat, they’re usually shaded by other taller plants because they can’t tolerate direct sunlight. Set them in a bright area but away from windows where they could be exposed to full sunlight. They like temperatures from about 60F to 90F. Trim off dead or yellowing leaves on the plant to encourage new, healthier growth. Care Instructions included.

I received my Bamboo Plant today! I have No Complaints. The plant is beautiful and very healthy.. Has a nice root system on the bottom.. I gently put small rocks as well as some tumbled quartz crystals around it to help hold it up! I was worried about ordering because of the negative reviews but I'm very happy I ordered my Bamboo Plant.. I did notice some of the bad reviews were orders during the winter time (Not sure where they lived) of course any plant traveling in the North or where it's cold you take a chance ordering live plants, if they get too cold and freeze they will be ruined.. I'm happy I ordered and will be ordering more again soon. :) UPDATE: MY Plant has gotten huge. I love it! Hey, when you receive your plant if any shoots broke off or if by accident you break off one "Stick it in water" They will grow roots..I did that and I planted the three that were broke in dirt after it had roots.. All three are doing good :)😉

Surprisingly good looking little bundle of bamboo! Like others said, the stalks are shorter than I pictured, so I will need to get a shorter container for them, but I am very pleased with the way it was shipped and how the circular bundles are put together. I'll probably keep them as they are, but there are so many, you could split them up for several displays. One little piece fell off on arrival, but if you're ordering plants by mail, you can't expect them to arrive perfectly. I will try to remember to update in a few months how they are holding up

We - rarely - leave a review, but these plants just were not any good. We have lots of indoor plants, and use good artificial lights on them. These bamboo plants, however, turned yellow and seemed to die off in about 1.5 months. We placed them, as instructed in filtered, room-temperature water and changed it regularly, but many of the stalks did not even have leaves on them to begin with. The water also had a rotting smell to it each time that we changed it. I don't know much about bamboo, but I feel as though we followed the directions here and do not have issues with other indoor plants. We even reached out to the vendor for assistance and all they sent back was basically the same instructions that came with the plants. Maybe you'll have better luck with these, maybe we got a bad batch - I don't know, but felt that our experience should be shared. Again, we rarely leave feedback on this site.

It's been 2 months now and I haven't lost not even 1 stalk. All of them came nice and green and they have stayed that way. They came nicely rooted with those jelly like things around the roots with water to keep them moist. I've purchased 2 other sets of these from another seller in the past and both times I lost several of the stalks within a few weeks. I'm very happy with this one. I will be ordering another set for my house and probably one for my sister in law.

I wasn't sure what to expect since I ordered this online. I didn't have high hopes it would look like the picture. Then due to delivery problems, it didn't arrive until late. I was certain it was going to show up dead. It was quite the opposite. The plant was beautiful - better looking than the picture and the delay in shipping (no fault of seller) did not ruin the plant because the seller packaged it so well. I would definitely buy from this seller again

I ordered the bamboo in September (2018) as something simple for our coffee table. it arrived pretty quickly but I had an almost-immediate issue. I wasn't thrilled with the packaging (who puts packing peanuts in with a plant??) and spent a very long while picking the Styrofoam out of the roots (didn't get it all out until about two weeks ago - in February!). It did fine for the first month or two; looked lush, very green, and healthy. It was about December when I noticed a gradual change of leaves and stems turning yellow. I chalked this up to the weather getting significantly colder. It is now March (seven months after ordering) and I've lost about 3/4 of the stalks and all but two or three seem to be swiftly going south. Before the plant's rapid decline, I was noticing a weird smell in the water as well (reminds me of the dentist's office or latex gloves) but thought maybe this wasn't a big deal and would just change out the water. I thought maybe the issue was me underwatering, then maybe overwatering, or the water temperature was too cold. I was sad to see the plant go from looking amazing to plucking out rotting stems almost daily. The plant looks as sad as I feel about its current state. As much as I enjoy houseplants, I might just stick with the fake ones for a while.I Even with a lot of the other reviewers saying their plants didn't last long, I still don't know why my plant is dying but, I am willing to place the blame on myself. Good luck to everyone who chooses to order their bamboo here, may your experience be more fruitful than mine.

After reading some of the other reviews I was questioning whether I should order, but as some other reviews were good, I decided to try. Boy am I glad I did! I am Very pleased with this purchase! They arrived Very quickly - about a week ahead of the amazon estimated time and in perfect condition. The bundle looked exactly as pictured with both the short to the quite tall pieces. It was well packed in plenty of the gel water solution to keep the root watered and packing peanuts. Tallest ones were a little bent at the top but quickly straightened out. I had wanted to split up the bundle to share with my sister and place in several pots that I already had. This was easily accomplished. SO glad I ordered what a bargain and will definitely consider ordering again if I need more lucky bamboo!!!
