My family needs a new sofa for the basement entertainment room/man Cave. The kids wanted something that they are able to watch a movie and then lay back on and normal seat when playing video games. I think this meets the best of both worlds and more. So let me bring you on a journey on how this came, assembled and how we used it. This came in two different packages, each weights quite heavy (so be careful of your back, we have the delivery guy bring it inside and give him a tip). Each item are labeled individually with letters, making it super easy to follow when setting up. The total amount of people needed to set this up is one, but if you have kids get them involved so I had three. the instruction manual is very straightforward in English as well. Each parts are matching, it look exactly like the instruction manual. it took me roughly about 30 to 40 minutes to set this up with the kids playing and helping. The set up is literally following steps without any extra tools needed. It came with tools already also with some spare parts (screws). Be cautious when tightening each individual screw. The instruction manual even puts it 80% tight and then 100% after certain step is completed. The bases are built for the left and right connecting the centerpiece with a back board that is both screwed to the left and the right along with the central seat, brackets securing to both of the bases. They seem to be sturdy, considering the brackets are made of metal and latch on together and the backboard are screw with four different points. Each cushion is vacuum sealed, they may look light, but definitely with a little weight. I would recommend you leaving it out for a couple of days for it to fully breathe and expand. The central seats have a little bounce to it, making it comfortable. The two elongated seats can comfortably fit me when sitting with the legs up. It is not ideal to lay flat. My legs will be out of the portion, it will fit anyone that’s 5’3” lying flat. The legs have screws giving you some room to adjust to uneven flooring. I have not washed it yet since this is new, most of the cushions have zippers and can be taken off to be washed. If you want to know about the material, you can look at the item specifications. The versatile of taking the pieces apart and put it together, making it easily movable. You can change the setting of any room with a nice lounge sofa. Like I said, this is in the basement entertainment room. We mostly use it to watch movies, play video game and chillax. The base legs, some elevation making the cleaning around it and under it easier. Last recommendation, be careful lifting the boxes that it comes in. ... show more
