Functionality wise, I am happy so far. Lifts well, seems long enough for most any truck. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE HORRIBLE - Watch some user videos on Utoob to figure it out. Hint - Extend the cylinder with a simple air hose to attach the 4 platform cables. Blow air in the other line to retract it. Assemble lines and Fill 3/4 tank of fluid and purge the air by lifting and lowering. My complaint is that it is scratched to the metal in several places. The ramps were so scratched that some of the diamond pattern is scratched off. Poorly protected in shipping. Aesthetics count.

The instructions are terrible! I ordered the xl and now the drip trays will not work because they are not wide enough. The bolts are cheap quality. They need to make it right with me

Very pleased with the quality of the product. I wanted a lift that did not have to be bolted down to be sturdy. This one works very well. Assembly instructions are lacking but with some help from on-line I was able to figure it all out and actually was able to assemble the lift on my own. Just needed an engine hoist to pick the ramps up.

I've looked into every lift brand out there, for the price, Katool got a lot right. Lifts up my Duramax 3500hd no problem. As with all the "bargain" brand lifts, the instructions aren't the greatest. Checkout Bendpak HD-9 instructions, the Katool is a copy of that design, but with air actuated safety locks. Couple assembly tips- laydown the posts to slide in the crossbeams, then two people can simply stand them up. Before fully attaching the runways to the crossbeams, route the cables into the beams and up around the pulleys. To extend the cylinder for more slack, use compressed air into the "return connection " on the runway. My biggest complaint about the lift is the protective wrap on the aluminum ramps, is a major project to get off. I wish Katool offered a 220volt pump without having to buy an additional pump. They should offer additional jack trays and drip trays as add on purchases as well. For the price, it's 5 star.
