The split A/C unit cools and heats quickly, runs quietly, and is easy to install. Perfect for small rooms and super energy-efficient. Great performance for the price!

The install was pretty normal, except the lineset had bad flares on both lines, and a pinhole on the suction line. Combining that with the fact the lines are very soft, I decided it was best to buy a different lineset. Now on to the unit itself. The outdoor unit is quite loud ~60db. It is not quiet. Also, I like to setup a electronic smart remote, so I can turn on the unit on and adjust remotely. The problem is that this unit is impossible to find the IR mapping, so a smart remote cannot control it. I contacted the seller, and they argue that the IR mapping is somehow proprietary and either cannot or will not send it. Then I asked where I could buy a new remote should this one break. Also - not available. So if you turn it on, and happen to misplace the remote, or it breaks, or a triple a battery corrodes - I hope you like the current setting, because the only way to change it is to shut off the breaker, pull it out, and replace it with a different mini-split. Really frustrating. I'll be returning it.
