Very sturdy table. It came with a ding on it from misshandling. A piece of the hinge that folds the table was also broken, yet the table kept itself together during family night. They were unable to replace the part but at least they gave us a discount. We liked the table enough to keep it as is.

The 9 piece dining set fits perfectly in our average sized dining room. It’s sturdy and well made. I searched for a long time to find a square 8 seat table set in a style that I loved and this is it. The price on Amazon was reasonable and it arrived in a suitable amount of time. This table has so many favorable reviews that I’m surprised by our experience. The table arrived in a timely manner. We have all the pieces. The issue is that the table-supports that are underneath cracked and broke. There are these black sliding things that are suppose to “glide” inside a different piece of wood so the table has stability. The black sliding pieces won’t go in to the designated slot so the table sags in the middle. Because it sags, the leif in the middle won’t line up properly for us to fully close the table. We tried to separate the side pieces from the leif to try again and that’s when the wooden supports cracked. Maybe this one was just defective since most of the other reviewers didn’t have this issue. ... show more

The first one arrived with the table split by a forklift and had to refuse delivery after waiting 2 weeks. Wait another 2 weeks for the next one and got it together fairly easily. Chairs and table assembled in about 5-6 hours. Heavy. Looks nice. Seats all of us. But didn't realize it didn't have any kind of protective coating. Not even a clearcoat over the finish, just the finish. 1 year old girl has already chipped the finish off in several places with nothing but kids plastic plates and plastic forks. ... show more
