This was oneof the best handy tech equipment i bought on amazon. The screen is bright and big enough to use it. The touch was great. It is very easy to setup and use. Apple car play and android auto both worked pefectly. Very Useful product to navigate and use on your vehicle. Automatic connection is enabled once you are connected.It comes with dash cam and a back camera which is also very easy to setup and use. In love with this product and i recommend to get it. Worth every penny.

I had recently started a Firewood Processing and Supply company and had purchased a 2016 Nissan Navara Pickup Truck to do my deliveries in, the only feature missing from this great pickup was Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration. I had been looking at after market options for sometime and after reading countless reviews and watching the required 250 YouTube videos🤣😂. I decided to go with the 9inch LAMTTO Smart Screen. This unit arrives very well packaged in an unbranded box simply marked Smart Screen, this unit was super easy to install and came with unexpected bonus feature of Bluetooth connectivity which was a game changer in terms of just needing to use one USB-C cable to connect to the Navara dashboard located cigarette 12/24v port. The screen resolution at 1024 x 600 gives a crisp and sharp HD resolution with a capacitive touch screen which I find very responsive with the only exception being the ‘start’ button whilst using Google Maps, which on my unit requires 2-3 touches to start, but works great from my iPhone. The sound quality is fantastic with audio being routed via Bluetooth to the Navara’s excellent audio system, I am super impressed with this unit and it has made using my iPhones features without the need to touch my phone whilst driving. The best feature for me is using the navigation feature which provides a much more accurate and visible screen than that of my iPhone 13 Pro, whether you use Maps, Waze, Google Maps or some alternative navigation software this is a must have unit. The unit also provides voice activated features using Siri and Google Assistant, which actually works really well, I use this for calling customers on route to make my firewood deliveries. The unit also as a Mirrorlink feature which allows you to watch videos whilst stationary, although I have not yet had a chance to stop and try this feature. In summary I would highly recommend the LAMTTO Smart Screen 9 inch unit if you are in the market for a after market Apple CarPlay or Android Auto unit this is great value and works well with a fantastic display. The only thing I would advise is purchase a padded case to keep the unit in and remove it from the vehicle after use as the ease of installation makes it an easy target for sticky fingers.

I bought this screen simply because of carplay. I’m currently driving a 2004 Dodge Durango and the stereo is not the greatest. This display does exactly what it says and it does it well. The screen is very bright that you can see it crystal clear in day light and it can be dim to a point where you can still see the screen clearly at night without it being super bright. The touch display response very quickly and at boot it only takes a few seconds to boot up and connect to my phone via carplay. AUDIO - The display does have several ways for audio output, Bluetooth, Aux Cable, And FM Transmitter, technically it has its own speaker too. But I didn’t use it to be honest. Bluetooth might be the best option for most people, I wish it was mine. But my stereo is locked in and can’t reset my bluetooth. So aux is the second best. Most car do have an Aux port which is the headphone jack to headphone jack cable. Very useful and as easy as plug and play. Probably the best option for most. FM Transmitter - i read another comment saying it was not good and I kinda would like to agree but I tested with both 12V Sockets that my vehicle has and the first one is right below the dashboard and it works it powers on and as soon as you turn the vehicle off and open a door the display turns off because power is cut, and this socket for what ever reason had a huge load of static. No matter what frequency, you could always hear static and very muffle. But I tried it on the second socket thats in side the middle compartment and there was no more static. Audio was clear and had no issues with the audio. It did however stayed on for a few minutes after the vehicle was off and the door had been opened. So I found that to not be Okay... simply because my phone would stay connected to the display until I was out of reach. Nevertheless- If Carplay is what your aiming for this is a great display. It’s big enough and maybe a little too big but overall I’ve had a great experience with it and it’s worked much better than expected.

My first impression taking this out of the box and plugging it , I put this in my girlfriend's car and she love it . It starts up pretty fast and connects to the iPhone over Bluetooth real quick. It supports wireless CarPlay. The 9" touchscreen is really big and quite responsive. I'm surprised that the delay is almost negligible between touching the screen and getting a response--I've heard other units there can be a lag of 1-3 seconds, but not with this. My girlfriend drives an hour each way to work, so adding CarPlay to her car is going to be a huge step up, and like I said, for a fraction of the cost of what I thought a good unit would be. Install was ran easy, too, since it comes with 2 mounting options. We went with the option where we stick it to the dashboard with the included mount. The backup cam looks great and it's nice that there's an option to access it without being in reverse. Overall I have very positive impressions of this unit and I'm going to recommend this to my friend who just got an F150 without a fancy screen or backup cam--this will fix that right away.
