I wanted a larger screen Android Auto compatible radio for my older Civic, I found a kit fascia that would fit a 9" screen, just had to relocate the A/C heater controls. So it was a lot of working getting this radio installed, and unfortunately, I will be looking for a better one. Pro's it is a large screen, and a great price, but with the multiple issues below, I will be looking for something better. First issue was the amplifier would only work when the radio app(FM/AM) was on, I realized I had hooked it up to the main Blue wire (Antenna-out) instead of the Amplifier-out wire on the RCA plugs. I switched to this one, and then had no amplifier at all. Checked voltage on the Amplifier out wire, and there was none. I hard wired it into my ACC power wire to get it to work for now. Next issue Android Auto, first of all it requires opening an app (Zlink), and would not ever auto load. It also will only work in wired mode, unable to get wireless to connect, phone connects fine via Bluetooth and can play music and make calls, but Zlink will not connect to go into Android Auto. Checked with my daughters iPhone, and CarPlay was the same way wired only no wireless, and still need to use Zlink, and will not autoload, even though this feature is turned on in the Zlink settings. Next Issue night mode just dims the screen and doesn't put Android, or iPhone into night mode, even through phone shows black maps when connected at night you get bright white maps on the display, only the backlighting is dimmed. I also know these issues are not my phone, because it works fine in my daughters car with a double din Pioneer head unit. Next issue backup camera, the car is a Manual so I have no reverse signal in the car, I wired it up per the instructions, using the power feed on the video cable, but the Display never switches to the rear camera, checked camera and it is powering on, but no display change. and no way to manually show backup camera. If you just want something cheap, and don't mind all the issues/work arounds to get things to work this may be for you, but I would gladly pay more to get the correct features, and options. UPDATE: 05/12/2023 Customer service reached out to me to try and resolve issues, was able to get wireless CarPlay to work with updated Zlink. I also found Nova Launcher app, and this allows you to make Zlink 2nd home button. So all you have to push is home button to load Android Auto/Car Play interface. We were not able to resolve amplifier input, but it may have just been an issue with my specific radio, the output does have to be turned on from the Android screen you just swipe down and the amplifier option is there, but still didn’t power up the blue wire. The maps will not auto switch from light/dark mode with any setting, I was able to force dark mode on my phone under developer tools on Android Auto Settings. This is better than the bright white maps at night. Ultimately, we still were unable to get Wireless Android, or Rear Camera working as wired. So they offered me a full refund and I get to keep the radio. 5-star service, just wish these couple issues were resolved and it would be a 5-star product.

I bought this radio as it had multiple things I was looking for in upgrading my car's head unit. Wireless android auto, a backup camera and an HD screen. 32GB of storage & 2GB of ram was also a plus. Once I received the kit the install was easy enough. Now I had a nice HD screen and a backup camera installed. Real nice. The backup camera was much more HD than I was originally expecting so that was a nice surprise. Then we had an issue with the wireless android auto portion. I reached out for product support & Mia walked me through a few steps in troubleshooting the issue. I was then sent an update for the wireless android software. The update went through without a hitch but wireless still didn't work. This potentially meant there was an issue with the wireless compatibility of my device & the radio. My phone is a Galaxy S20 Ultra. As soon as we discovered that, Mia offered to get a replacement unit sent out due to these issues but the it was a different model/style that was incompatible with my car. I really appreciated all the attempts to help and sometimes that's what you need in a product. Even with the issues, I'm happy and keeping this radio installed. It's absolutely an upgrade from my previous radio, costs less than a lot of other options I saw with the camera included, and with the support I was given I couldn't say no.

For android auto both wired and wireless, you have to use an app called Zlink. Utter garbage. Wired it works ok but wirelessly it's junk. Installed in my Jeep three months ago. Have had zlink working wirelessly maybe 8 times. Fight with it for hours and get it to work. Shut Jeep off, then started it again and it worked! Thought I had it. Next day....right back to fighting with it to work. After doing this for weeks, now it has been weeks with out getting it to work wirelessly. Decided today I would spend some time working with it to get it to work. Almost 2 hours later, nothing! If you're looking for a android stereo , primarily for the Android Auto wireless as I did, DON'T GET THIS ONE! EDIT!! Audio just quit working. Not even a radio now! UPDATE!!! Customer service is awesome!! Theu are sending me a replacement unit!!

I bought this universal radio to replace my 2013 Prius with JBL speakers. I have never done any sort of car radio work before, but the radio is very easy to use and set up. I had to ensure I got the correct wiring harness for my vehicle (check your input cables into your current stereo and ensure you do not need any additional wiring harnesses). It has a 20-pin standard power input, 1 4-pin and 1 6-pin inputs for USB cables, a 10-pin input for the backup camera, and an 8-pin input for steering wheel control (I believe that is the function). With the harness I got it was pretty much just plug and play, with no splicing or soldering required so I highly recommend that route. You can install apps from google play to make the experience better, and customize it pretty well, I found that Android Auto worked great with the ZLink even if other reviewers are complaining. The Factory Settings code is 8888 on my unit, which allows you to access CANBUS settings if your wiring harness has that. I did not set up the external mic or backup camera as I have an OEM camera, but the instructions are straightforward for those in the manual and I'm confident I could do it. I had to contact customer service as well and the response was very quick and accommodating. Highly recommend this Android radio.
