This rug meets my expectations. Its size and neutral tones could fit in anywhere. The rug is very soft and somewhat slippery, but that isn't a concern for me. I haven't washed the rug, but when I do, it won't go in the dryer. Also, please remember that like most latex backed rugs, no beater bar should be used. We are recovering from two back-to-back hurricanes, and we have been living on a concrete floor while our home is undergoing extensive repairs. We lost our flooring and rugs to flooding. Money is extremely tight for us as we wait for our insurance company to compensate us for the damages, but we wanted to purchase an area rug for our living room so we could feel some normalcy while we wait for our flooring. We bought this rug thinking it would be temporary because it was so affordable. When it arrived we fell in love with it. It is so soft and the colors are richly subtle, making it appear much more expensive than it was. It is admittedly thinner than area rugs we've had before and we thought we'd need a pad for it, but we have found that no pad is necessary because it is so soft. Honestly for the price, it’s not ok. I kind of like how it’s not too thick! Only downfall is that it doesn’t lie flat. Maybe i need to put something underneath to help it be more taut? Any tips? 😭

The other reviews were right about the butter softness. Non-slip is great especially with my little dogs running around. Great product for price. The only minor complaint I wish it was a thicker rug. It is very much a mat which makes sense for it to be washable.

Ok, it is obviously a thiner rug! But other than that, it's perfect! It's a deep blue and not black though. It's so gorgeous!!! The colors are vibrant and it literally makes me smile every time I walk in my kitchen and see it! I actually just had to buy a bigger one to replace the one under our table so it matches.
