I ordered the 2x6 runner, thinking it would be perfect for our hallway. Unfortunately, I am terrible at estimating and our hallway is much longer than I thought! This is on me, not the seller. All is not lost though, because this fits perfectly in our kitchen, and covers the entire front of the sink and dishwasher. The colors on this are vibrant, and the printing on it is beautiful. It feels like walking on velvet, and one of our cats has taken to lounging on it like it's her personal parking space. This thing does not budge unless you lift one end of it to move it, so it's not a slip hazard! It's not thick, but it also isn't threadbare. I'm going to call it thin and solidly made, which makes sense if it's a washable rug; it can't be too thick to shove in a washer. I have not tried to wash this yet, but we have a front-loading washer, which is what you need if you want to wash things like this, and I can already tell it'll fit just fine. When I ordered this, the list price was under $30, and that's not a bad price at all for a rug this nice.

This is more like a tapestry than a rug. Very thin rubber backing. Its soft. Could be placed on top of another rug. I bought it on sale. So far it works on top of my outdoor weaved rug.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright, In the forests of the night; What immortal hand or eye, Could frame thy fearful symmetry William Blake This gigantic rug has more than tygers, it has elephants, pink flamingos, zebras, toucans and peacocks. The trees seem to be pomagranites and coconut palms, it is so pretty and bold and colorful and it makes my living room look lively and lived in. My husband thinks it looks like the rug of an older woman who has a lively and slightly scandalous youth and I couldn't agree more and it makes me like this rug even more. This is one of those washable rugs. Not that you could or should try to stuff this into your home washing machine, definitely needs a truly gigantic washer, like the oversized ones at a laundromat. Because it is washable it is thinner and prone to wrinkling which is something that irritates me to no end. So if you are like me you should get a rug keeper for the underside (sorry, can't remember what they are called but they keep rugs from sliding around). But other than the sliding around, this is super nice rug and I like how it looks under my table.

The technology of throw rugs had really advanced in the last 25 years. This rug is great, meeting or exceeding my expectations in every way. As is typical now, this rug is thin enough to arrive folded up in a fairly compact package. However, thinness does not equal flimsiness as this rug has a super durable and stiff backing material. It is tough and also has a rubberized coating to minimize slippage and bunching. An examination of the weaving and stitching indicates that this rug is made tight and strong. The pile is very short which I like to minimize the entrapment of dirt and mud. Yet on bare feet the super short pile still feels luxurious. It is quite wonderful when such an inexpensive rug is so practical without sacrificing aesthetics. On that note the colors in the deep green version I selected are beautiful. I love the pattern and appreciate how the darker shades do not easily show dirt. This is a great 2x6 foot rug that at the current retail price around $26 has earned my five star recommendation based on high quality construction and suitability for even high traffic areas.
