This controller has been excellent to me. I feel the qual of the controller is fairly comparable to an Xbox One or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, for only $20! The controller feels gr in my hands, the buttons, D-Pad, and joysticks feel great without any quality compromised despite the cheap price. I'd you're looking for a controller for PC Gamepass, Steam, or emulation look no further, this controller beyond exceede my expectations for the price and I've gone through quite a number of cheap controllers before this one. I do wish the controller would work on PS4 or Switch, but that's not what the controller was advertised as so I can't fault 8BitDo. Aside from that this controller is great. The battery life has been excellent and luckily it charges with USB-C instead of micro. That is a huge convience for me since practically all my devices are USB-C instead of USB-Micro or Double AA's. For $20-$30, buy this controller. The quality and battery life feel like they are worth much more based on recent controller prices. Over the years I've had great experiences with 8BitDo but undoubtedly this controller is the best bang for your buck for a PC controller. Last bit I'll add is I haven't noticed any latency/input delay. Compared to wired controllers I've had it performs the same but with a better build quality. Overall I'd rate this controller 9/10, the only hold back being the lack of PS4/Nintendo Switch support but that is in no way 8BitDo's fault. Thank you 8BitDo, thanks to you I have a high quality controller that doesn't break the bank.

This controller looks cool and has great responsive controls that feel very similar to the original Xbox 360 controllers. The buttons work great, the triggers are analog triggers that work like they should, the aim and move sticks are solid and do not drift. This controller works with Steam and EPIC and other PC games. The controller works either as a wireless controller with the included USB fob thing or you can hook it up to the PC wired with the included USB Type C cable (or use a longer one I suppose). Overall, this controller is a great controller for the PC and worth the price. Recommended A++.

I've long been interested in getting an 8Bitdo controller, but found their prices to be a bit more than I could stomach. It was a pleasant surprise when this was announced: a somewhat cut-down version of the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2.4g Wireless Controller without the charging dock for $20 cheaper. I jumped onboard on day 1. There seems to be some confusion about this item so to reiterate it is based on the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2.4g Wireless Controller, not the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller. The latter is fairly different as it has Hall sensor analog sticks (which theoretically are immune to stick drift), gyro controls, and obviously Bluetooth connectivity. How does this controller differ from the original Ultimate 2.4 Wireless Controller? Besides the lack of a charging dock, it does not have the "profile" button on the front, it does not have a mode switch toggle nor two programmable paddles on the back, it isn't compatible with Nintendo Switch, and it isn't compatible with 8Bitdo Ultimate Software. Anyway, as for the controller itself, I have no complaints. I find it comfortable to hold—the underside of the grips have an interesting bumpy texture. The d-pad, buttons, triggers, and analog sticks all feel good to the touch. There's some noise when pressing down LB, RB, face buttons, and the d-pad; but it's not too clicky so I don't mind it. My only point of comparison to this controller is the budget Logitech F310, and this is far superior to that in every way. Probably my only nitpick is that there's nowhere to store the wireless receiver USB dongle when it's not in use. The version with the dock has a storage area within the dock, but of course this doesn't have that option. Overall, I think this is a great controller for $30. Compared to the $50 version with the dock, there is missing functionality like it doesn't work with Nintendo Switch and can't be customized with 8Bitdo Ultimate Software. If neither of those are dealbreakers, then this may be the one to get.

Overall good quality and nice controller. Connects easily and a really nice solid feel to it. Only downside is that some combos don’t seem to register easily. Could be my problem who knows. Overall a pretty nice buy for the price. (PC)

Very good overall quality for the price. This controller in my opion is better than the standard Xbox controller, especially as far as comfort in the hands. The rubber thumb sticks are soft unlike the Xbox series S standard controller which can hurt your fingers after a while. Overall controller build is soft to the touch yet feels very durable, especially for this price poit. Also this is a wireless controller and the wireless connectivity works seamlessly with a good battery life. All of this for $30 is a great deal!

I’ve had my share of 3rd party controllers and I’m sad none of them have been from 8bitdo until now. The controller feels great. I always favored the body style of the switch pro controller but didn’t like how they didn’t have analog triggers, these do. So it’s an obvious upgrade for me especially with this price. My only complaint would be that the buttons a tiny bit mushy but it’s very easy to overlook.
