It does a solid job keeping the dampness under control, and to get rid of the musty smell. It has a timer that can be set for 8/16/24 hours. I love that it has a large collection bin that is easy to empty and replace. It has been hot and humid outside and I’ve been waking up every morning with foggy windows in my kitchen and living room. The air felt wet and gross and finally I was tired of it and I bought this only June 27th. Today it is July 2nd so 5 days later and this is how much water has been collected. My windows are no longer foggy or holding moisture and I’m so happy about it. It works great and the air feels better.
