I would not use the inks that come in the package for anything other than fake skin. The fake skins are also pretty cheap, thin, and flimsy, so you won’t get the proper depth or realistic practice from them. But the machine itself is great, which is probably the main reason you’re buying this kit. So far I’ve had no issues. I love that it has a battery indicator, tracks how long you’ve been working, and gives reliable feedback. The charge time is about an hour per battery, and the kit includes two. I get about 4–6 hours of working time per battery depending on the voltage I’m running. In theory, you could set one battery to your lining voltage and the other to your shading voltage, then swap as needed if you want to track how long each step of the process takes. It’s a surprisingly useful feature. Overall, it’s a solid machine and I haven’t had any complaints. It’s a great budget option for beginners, and the pink color is adorable. I’m definitely a pink girly, so it fits my setup perfectly. ... show more
