Been using since feb 1st of this year (2025) & its been awesome... until 4 days ago. Woke up to a giant puddle. Put unit outside, cleaned mess & went about trouble shooting. Wasnt much water in reservoir when plug was pulled. Seemed to be dripping from the side of unit. Cleaned unit best i could & let sit outside to dry for day or two. Plugged in, everything works, went to bed. Woke up this morning to another giant puddle. Is very obviously dripping from the side & reservoir had maybe 2 tsp of water come out. ... show more

10/11/2024 - I purchased this under the impression that it was a portable AC and the listed spec description saying 699 watts thinking it will be energy efficient. Unfortunately after plugging in and running some tests, I see that when the compressor kicks in, the power consumption jump from the low 700W to 1,700W. My plan was to use this in a room that already has several other equipments running as well, on the same breaker. At 1,700W, that is literally needing its own dedicated AC breaker, that's very well near the 80% of a 20A breaker rule... and won't work for my needs. ... show more
