I'm quite impressed with this portable air conditioner. It is fully featured, sends out cool, crisp, clean air, and the remote is responsive. Although I'm fortunate to have central A/C, this allows me to further chill a single room without reducing the temperature in the entire house leading to a steep electric bill. Additionally, while my generator can't support central A/C when power is lost, it can support this unit. Further, unlike a window unit, this A/C does not put stress on the window frame & from the exterior is barely noticeable, if at all. Being able to use it as a fan and a dehumidifier adds to its versatility. In terms of set up, assembly is intuitive. The design of the window panel makes it easy to adjust for a perfect fit & the hose slides in/out of the back of the unit allowing it to be removed for ease of storage. The unit is on wheels so moving it from room to room is a breeze.. My only note is that the hose material is a bit on the thin side & has the potential to be damaged by a pet's claws etc. otherwise, all other components are structurally substantial. In terms of the noise level, I'd rank it as average and as expected. Comfort during hot & humid summer months is priceless & this A/C unit performs very well.

The A/C part work pretty good but the vent tube is CHEAP, it constantly comes off

Love it. The only thing I can’t figure out is does it shut off once it reaches the temperature that you have on the dial I set it at 74 each night and it seems that it runs constantly.. just makes me a little nervous. I was thinking once it reached temp it would shut off. It is not that loud as people have stated but I was used to having three or four fans in my room cools very quickly. I love it. I just need to figure out how the temp operates.

I believe I received a retuned unit. It’s super inconvenient because now I have to go drop it off at UPS and order a new one. I was really hoping to have this for the weekend. It’s dirty and broken.

Turned off and did not turn back on the day after i set it up. Customer Service/ support team offers no assistance. Don't buy. When it did work for the day, wasn't cooling nothing..

I got this 8000 BTU portable AC for my bedroom, and it works great for cooling the space quickly. It’s easy to set up with the window kit, and I like that it also has a fan and dehumidifier mode. The remote control makes it super convenient, especially at night when I don’t want to get up. I’m really happy with how well it works for an average sized room.
