I use tumble weeds to light my grills and smoker to stay away from using lighter fluid. I was attracted to this item with the word "large" written into the description and though to give them a try. First, I would not personally call these "large" as they are only slightly bigger than the ones I get from big box stores in my area. Second, these do ignite easily as they should so there is no complains in that area. Third, I placed one of these next to the ones I buy from the store and lit them at the same time. These burnt about 1 min less than the ones I buy at the store and pay more money for, so this is not too much to complain about unless burn time is a top priority for your needs. Over all I am extremely satisfied with these tumble weeds, they work as they should, have a decent burn time and are a decent size.

After using them once, I almost gave these fire starters a poor review, but then I tried them again after I read the instructions! You really do need to start with some smaller kindling, and I also used the recommended 3 instead of the 1 I tried the first time. I normally use one of the small, dense brick fire starters to light our fire place, but I have hold the butane flame up to it for a long time before they ignite. With those fire bricks I knew I would be going through a lot of butane lighters, so I wanted to try something else. Today I gathered twigs from the yard as kindling and gave these fire starters another try and they worked great. I love that they ignite IMMEDIATELY and that they are made with natural ingredients. I had a fire in no time and I used very little butane. With 80 pieces, that means you can have at least 26 fires. I may try to get away with just using two at a time to get even more fires out of the box. I highly recommend these fire starters.

Ordered these GUSIL 80 PCS Fire Starter for my charcoal chimneys and dispursed camping adventures. Being an avid outdoor family, I was just looking for a quick short cut to traditional fire making. These starters light quickly and will ignite even using flint. On average I get about 10 minutes of high heat burn time. With proper fire fuel assembly it only takes one starter to get a camp fire blazing. With a charcoal chimney and no wind, one starter will ignite the charcoal. Increased airflow will require either two starters or the addition of paper or cardboard to fully ignite the chimney. These starters have lit easily even in damp conditions. No odor is transferred when using to grill or cook. Easy to pack and store. Great value at .25 each. Keeper!
