well when i first opened the box they were 1 inch or a little more long. boy was i mad. now hold on and keep reading. then i put 2 in the pellet stove to make sure because some you have to use more stuff to get it going like liquid Firestarter. so i made my attempt and put 2 in because my igniter doesn't work and when new one is placed it goes out in a month. sheesh. so here i am starting fire going to give bad review. and bam it starts up immediately and still going good. no adding the pot so to speak. tyvm tyvm you guys rock. I go around town walking my dog and I pick up pine cones it helps alot and they are free. It really helps getting 100 percent firestarters weee

These Realcook fire starters do their job — they light easily, burn steadily, and work well in a grill, fire pit, or wood stove. The problem is the size. Each starter is about one‑third the size of similar products I’ve bought in the past, which makes the “72 count” a bit misleading. In practical use, the whole box is roughly equivalent to about 25 normal‑sized starters. They’re functional, easy to use and reliable, but the reduced size takes away a lot of the value and will keep them from lasting nearly as long as you might expect.
