Nothing bad to say about it, is worth the money and a chimney makes starting charcoal SO much easier. Unless I'm smoking ribs or a pork shoulder, the size is just right for me when I'm just cooking a steak or a burger or two as it holds just the right amount of charcoal that I need.

I use lump charcoal to grill and barbeque and this gets it going quickly. If the lumps are large it takes about 10 minutes to get a chimney-full of charcoal well lit. (Small pieces restrict airflow and increase the time it takes to get all the charcoal lit.) The Weber charcoal chimney is bigger, sturdier, and built better than any cheap-o charcoal starter. It's heat shield is larger, and provides better hand protection. It also lasts much longer (I have burned through cheap chimneys in a year; my old Weber chimney is over 8 YO and still serviceable.) I appreciate good tools and this is one. More expensive but worth it for all the reasons stated.

i have a small snow peak takibi grill (about 10" x 10") and for the longest time just used it as a small fire pit since i didn't have enough space to safely rockpile the amount of charcoal needed to cook anything. i read online that people used this for small table top grills and decided to give it a try-- it totally changed the way i was able to use my small grill! i fill up the chimney starter about 80% full with charcoal and heat it up from the bottom with a couple sheets of paper and after a few minutes i have flaming white hot coals that i pour onto my grill. it's hot enough i was able to grill some raw chicken breast directly on the grill. buy this! so worth it, totally changed my grilling experience.
