I love the colors and quality of these cones, and the value for my money is great. I wish I had bitten the bullet and bought the much bigger set, but I'm new to machine embroidery and didn't know how much I might wider a wider range of color choices, especially for photo embroidery. I highly recommend this brand, which comes with a color conversion chart that includes one of the color chart options on my Brother SE-4000.

Have not tested yet I love the color variety just wish it had a print out with thread conversion number like brothread has but they beat brothread in terms of labeling top and bottom so you dont lose the color numbers.

This is a great set of quality embroidery thread! It has many beautiful colors and each cone is labeled with a Robison-Anton Polyester Thread number both on the bottom of the cone and on the plastic wrap covering the thread. The paper labels on the bottom fall off, so it is best to write the number on the bottom of the cone with a permanent marker. The set comes with a color chart but the numbers are standard and there are many cross references online. We have this set of thread through its paces on our Brother PE500 machine. I don't want to jinx myself, but we haven't had one thread from this set break since we started using it. We have embroidered many complex designs including patches we have designed ourselves. My guess would be that most of the people who have complained of breaking thread have problems with their machines or they don't know how to use them. For instance... our machine will not go more than a minute or two without breaking thread if we try to use any fabric without a stabilizer. Changing the tension settings makes no difference.

I haven’t yet used the thread, all I’ve done is unboxed it. The spools are all individually wrapped. Each is labeled with its color number. A list of colors is included. I verified every color listed was included. One spool had an incomplete label, but its identity was easy through process of elimination. At this time they seem a good deal in that the per spool price is considerably cheaper than purchasing similar spools individually off the shelf. When I do start using the threads I will update my comments as appropriate.

All I can say for this price you can not beat this with a stick the quality is awesome I have a Baby Lock Alliance one needle and I got some thread where I bought my machine but it's so expensive for no reason, so I went to Amazon and looked around and seen this one to be honest I thought it was the big spools and it wasn't but I was still happy you get some many colors, you get black and white bobbin thread and a sheet that list all the colors you have I'm new at all this but i'm real familiar with it all I just never gotten my hands dirty until now and it's so much fun P.S. First Order I got they sent out a damaged box and contents damaged. No idea why a company would do that. The outer box was undamaged. My replacement came in undamaged. I have not used a lot of the threads - just three so far and those three have had no issues with. I am very pleased with the value for the price. I know there are many colors I may never use - but am just beginning and felt the option of many colors was great to start out with and then could buy specific colors as needed. Using in my Brother PE800 and am pleased so far!

Thread colors are excellent, thread quality is very good. Labels are very tiny, my 55 year old eyes need a magnifying glass to read them ( on top of my bifocals). The shrink wrap on the spools doesn't hold up well ( I like to put the shrink wrap back on to keep my thread dust free). My biggest complaint is the spool design. There is an extra ridge at the bottom so you can't just sit the spool next to your machine, the thread will catch in that ridge. Putting the spool on the spool pin basically destroys the tiny labels.
