Very pleased with these 45-degrees pergola metal brackets that fits a 4”x 4” pressure treated wood end. Makes the installation of support beams easier than cutting wood at angles “to fit” the structure we are building. Upon inspection, these are 4 black brackets that are rigid, thick, sturdy, and seems to have a sand blasted, baked on powder finish covering every surface. They were also well packaged individually in plastic to protect the coating. Careful handling to avoid scratching the finish will ensure no rusting with the added benefits of keeping the completed assembly aesthetically pleasing with zero marring. Comes with nails. These bracelets are versatile and can be used to build multiple types of structures. Provides excellent support for crossbeams, making our shed building much easier. Be aware that depending on the type of 4”x 4” support beams you are using (pressure treated, cedar, red pine, etc.) the ends of the wood may require sanding or shaping to fit into the open ends of the brackets. We have no problems with the fit for our project. We are using this to build a small shed with an angled roof over our sprinkler system well pump and zone valves. Dead pieces of branches from the sycamore tree over the pump often falls vertically, and more than once, we have had pipes cracked from falling wood. Setting the posts to get the exact roof pitch can be difficult to anchor at 45-degrees, even the brace ends are cut to pitch on a chop saw. Anchoring the angled supports to the posts can look untidy, and is definitely not as stable as these uniquely designed brackets provide. This is especially so during storms, heavy winds and falling branches. We are very grateful to have these versatile and well engineered metal brackets with multiple nail/screw holes for easy installation.

These are pretty great for a streamlined look and to ensure that your supports stay in place. Whereas most brackets fix to one face, this one partially wraps around to cover 3 sides for a better look and hold. -These are made well and have a weatherproof coating that should allow it to hold up for a very long time. -They have drain holes so that water won't stay trapped and rot the wood inside. -Fits just about perfectly around a 4x4 post. <Obviously measurements vary when lumber is concerned but these should work with just about any 4x"whatever" post. -Anchors from 3 sides of the post. <Instead of all of the screws being on one side, this one slightly wraps around. If one side is hard or next to impossible to get to (such as if it's flush against a wall), 2 out 3 is still a pretty firm hold.

Whatever type of building your constructing, if these are available to consider while planning, your construction will be easier & less expensive than other options & will also add additional strength. Black coated finish that should maintain a weather barrier for many years, fit most standard big box lumber store 4 by 4's, Using a good quality outdoor screw adds even more strength, multi side connection holes are a nice feature and the look is good. Water drain to keep it from rot. They were carefully packaged to protect the coating & arrived on time.

Used these for a pergola off the back of our studio and they worked exactly like they should. They make 45-degree angles way easier to execute, and the fit with 4x4s is nice and snug. The drainage hole is a simple but smart feature that helps prevent rot. Solid build, decent value, and the included screws aren’t half bad either (which is always a pleasant surprise).
