I bought this Camic stand mixer for my wife a while back, and since she spends a lot of time baking for our two daughters, it has seen plenty of use. I’m giving it five stars because it handles everything she throws at it without struggling, and for a guy my age, I appreciate tools that are built solid and don't feel like toys. The first thing I like is the sheer size of the bowl. At over eight quarts, she can mix up massive batches of cookie dough or bread without flour flying all over the counter. It’s an all-metal machine, so it has some real weight to it, which keeps it from walking across the counter when it’s working on a thick dough. The digital timer is a smart addition that I didn't think we needed, but it's great for keeping track of mixing times so she doesn't overwork the batter while dealing with our 11 and 13-year-olds. Even our Maltipoo, Joy, seems to like hanging around the kitchen when this thing is running, probably hoping for a stray scrap. On the downside, because it is such a large, heavy piece of equipment, it’s a bit of a beast to move around. If you don't have a dedicated spot for it on the counter, your back might not love hauling it out of a lower cabinet. It also takes up a fair amount of real estate, so it’s not for a cramped kitchen. Regarding the price, I think it represents excellent value. You get a lot of power and capacity for a lot less than some of those big-name brands charge just for the logo. It’s a workhorse that does the job right, and my wife is happy with it, which is the most important part.

This stand mixer is seriously high quality and heavy duty. The first thing I noticed is how solid it feels. Its hefty and has sturdy metal housing, a durable stainless-steel bowl with a handle, and it stays put on the counter while mixing thanks to the strong suction. It has 10 speeds so I can go from gentle stirring to whipping and mixing thicker batters with no problem, and the tilt-head design makes it easy to add ingredients and switch attachments. I also love that it comes as a complete set. The included dough hook, whisk, and beater cover everything I need for bread, cookies, cakes, and more. The bowl is large (8.45 qt) which is perfect for bigger batches, and cleanup is easy. Overall, this mixer feels like it’s built to last and performs like a much more expensive machine. If you want a dependable, powerful mixer with great materials and all the accessories included, this one is an excellent choice.

This 8.45 QT stand mixer definitely feels durable and well made. It has plenty of power to handle bread dough, which is often the true test of a mixer’s strength. The large capacity bowl is advertised as 8+ quarts, but in practice it comfortably holds about 5–6 quarts since the mixer head extends down into the bowl a few inches. Still, that’s more than enough for most home baking projects. The tilt-head design is convenient, but attaching some of the accessories can be a bit awkward. They need to be turned just right to avoid hitting the bowl when lowering them into place. The stainless steel bowl itself is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, but for the price point I expected something thicker and sturdier. On the plus side, the digital timer and display are nice modern touches, though one of the display numbers doesn’t light up fully on mine. It’s a small annoyance, but noticeable. The included bowl scraper, unfortunately, feels cheap and doesn’t match the quality of the mixer itself. Overall, the mixer functions well and delivers on performance, especially for heavy doughs. However, between the quirks in design, the lightweight bowl, and the high price, it feels a bit overpriced for what you get. If you value power and capacity above all else, it’s a solid choice—but be prepared for some compromises in the finer details.

This stand mixer is not just another kitchen appliance; it's become the wife's indispensable tool for basically everything that gets "mixed". Its very easy to use and understand. The power and versatility of this mixer are truly remarkable. She said she can now confidently tackle any recipe, and the results are consistent. The size is ideal for our family's needs, and the ingenious tilt-head design makes adding ingredients and cleaning up easy-peezy... She had an older P Silex that was handed down and it finally gave up so we were in the need for a replacement and saw this one..As someone who consistently wants value for the dollar so far this mixer has delivered and hasn't broke a sweat. If you're in the market for a stand mixer that's a cut above most of them I think this one will fill the need... Genes 2 cents!
