For the price point, it's a great safe. The safe has four internal mounting points where it can be screwed into a stud anchored via a toggle bolt. For entry it comes with backup keys, code entry and biometric thumbprint. I've had it for a couple months now and I haven't had any issues with any of it. It doesn't have anything like fireproofing but that's not the price point that you're looking at. If you're not interested in paying for a $600 safe to start then this was my first one and I think it should be yours too. OneNote if you do want to put shotguns with bird barrels in it the lower removable shelf will have to come out or trimmed to fit around the shotgun barrel. Great starter safe can't go wrong.

The safe was delivered today and we got it set up fairly easily, just need to pay close attention to the instructions on setting up the code and fingerprint scanner. We've tested the code as well as multiple fingerprint scans and everything functions as it should. It's not perfect by any means and it's not pretty but for under $200, I didn't pay for pretty. There were very minor indentations in the door metal but not noticeable if you're not looking too closely. The dimensions are spot on. What I was very impressed with is the shelves are welded in and while the metal is not thick, I am certain that they will hold as many boxes of ammunition that will fit in the space which is a major plus. The size is perfect and fit nicely where I needed it to go. It's not fireproof and I'm sure someone could get into it with an ax and some muscle, but they would have to get through my six dogs first and I don't foresee that happening. This is a great choice if you want something simple to keep your firearms secure from children running around the house. Happy with this purchase. Recommended.

I received this gun cabinet on time and in a double box that appeared undamaged. After unboxing the unit, I noticed a dent in the top, front corner of the cabinet. The thin metal is bent enough that the door will NOT open. I immediately notified Amazon to initiate a return. I was told that I WOULD HAVE TO PAY to have the unit shipped back. To add insult to injury, the unit needs to be shipped back in order to get a refund....to CHINA!!! Yes, the large chunk of metal junk needs to be boxed back up and shipped to China at my expense. This is the worst customer service and return policy I've ever encountered. Lesson learned!! Stop buying cheap Chinese built crap from these companies. They take your money and simply don't care what happens after.

Overall, this is a nice quality safe for the price. The construction feels solid, the door operates smoothly, and having three access options (biometric fingerprint, keypad, and backup key) makes entry quick and convenient. Setup was simple, and the biometric scanner works reliably once fingerprints are properly programmed. The interior layout is decent, and I like the door storage for accessories. I did purchase a few upgrades separately that made a big difference in usability. I added magnetic rechargeable, motion-detecting RGB LED puck lights for better visibility inside the safe and a CVLife 6-pistol foam holder for the shelf, which greatly improved handgun organization and made better use of the available space. One important thing to note is capacity. Although it is marketed as a 10–12 gun safe, that number is very optimistic. The safe is about 1’ wide, so If your rifles have scopes or optics, realistic capacity is closer to three rifles. Even then, they need to be positioned carefully and slightly angled (around 45 degrees) for the door to close properly. Also, this should be considered more of a security cabinet than a fire safe, so keep that in mind if fire protection is a priority. Pros • Solid build quality for the price • Multiple access methods (biometric, keypad, key) • Quick and reliable access • Door storage for accessories • Interior can be improved easily with aftermarket organizers Cons • Advertised capacity is unrealistic with scoped rifles • Limited space for modern rifles with optics • Not fire rated Bottom line: Good entry-level safe for basic security and quick access. Plan on fitting fewer rifles than advertised, but with a few inexpensive upgrades like lighting and a pistol rack, it becomes much more functional.

I'm just gonna be blunt and honest. All these gun cabinets will not hold anywhere near the amount they say. Leariso this is no way a jab at you but Expect 2 to 3 rifles with smaller scopes or optics fit. The light is almost non existent (i added a magnetic auto detection light). The siren is very very quiet. The unboxing is wonderful. Fedex dropped my package which is extremely well packaged. Were talking metal corner brackets and a corrugated solid 1 in shell wrapped around a thick cardboard box. It was still no match for fed ex though. The dents were small enough im just accepting it as is. Having said that.... This keeps your valuables safe and guns safe. Lets be clear. If my 16 year old grandson wanted to break into this, given he had some time alone, he could. However it deters them. Knowing there's a lock, a alarm, even a shaking alarm. They are not going to destroy grandpas gun cabinet because they were curious. But it prevents them from gaining access to a weapon and having them explore the possibilities if they just happened to be stored or put up or hidden. The bio metrics work excellent and are very fast and work EVERY TIME, EVERY TIME, EVERY TIME! Its easy to program and it works every time flawlessly which is reassuring when you need quick access. The aesthetics are very nice inside has very well thought out design and room for a lot of items. I paid 169.99 and for that price its a great cabinet. There is nothing you have to assembly at all and its solid. I would make sure to bolt it down or secure it on the bottom or the back (there are holes in both) to prevent tipping especially with the front door open. It LOOKS like a pretty legit safe but looks can be deceiving. If you have a home invasion and are not home I would not expect someone with basic tools more than 3 to 5 min to get it open. If your looking for a SAFE or fireproof cabinet keep looking, Just so you are clear as to what you are getting. Its hard to beat for the price. Very top of the inside if safe is pretty ugly and has writing and scratches and weld marks all over it but unless your under 3 foot tall you wont notice it. For 170 bucks the peace of mind it brings is easily worth the value. With the price point they bring I could not expect anymore from Leariso I personally think they did a wonderful job on this
