I love this ac unit. It works great and has a quiet mode. The fan is fantastic. Even on the lowest setting i can feel the air movement from across the room. It cools very well. I've reached the lowest setting of 62°. It's taking a bit to get used to the remote control, there's a slight learning curve there. Lol Its very easy to clean the filters. The front cover comes all the way down (on hinges) to get the filters out with ease. It was very easy to install. We bought a screen making kit from Menards and made a new screen. You might need to get some window insulation foam and cut pieces to fit any gaps. The one big problem that I have would be with the delivery. It was quite damaged. Most of the damage is on the outside section, so we don't have to look at it constantly,. It just looks bad from outside. The damage tweeked the whole unit. We decided to install it anyway to check out the performance. We loved it so....... When it rains the water pools at the damaged corner on top. I don't know about the energy efficiency yet. Also, as seen in pic, my cat(s) are happy to still have their window and im happy that I can have fresh air whenever I want it. Like I said I love this air conditioner I just wish it wasn't damaged.

The AC makes a very weird popping sound when you first turn it on. It almost rattles the window, so it’s very jarring. Also, it was quiet upon a couple days of usage. However, it starts to get a lot louder for some reason, even on the quietest setting.

This is a great unit with a full function, remote control that is very user-friendly and has numerous customizable settings. It mounts in the window, very secure with locking bolts and rubber feet and only leaves your window open. 4 inches once you install some wood blocking in the window no one can ever get in. One thing of note is that the condensation water from this unit does get pumped out by a small pump located in the pan and you will hear it every 30 minutes or so so don’t be alarmed. It is normal.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very quiet and cools really well. We use it for the main rooms of our house. Functionality: Easy to install and operate. 4 stars because it does have a drain I have to empty once in a while but it has easy access to drain.

It is loud! And when it clicks on it hums, but then there’s a sudden almost like loud, vibrating pop that literally shakes the window. I am not going through all of the trouble it would take to remove it from the window and return it. But I definitely would not recommend this, especially if it’s for your bedroom.! it wakes me up multiple times during the night, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. And the positive side it does keep the room cool

I love this "saddle" design! Omg I can't say enough good things about this AC. It's wonderful all around and if I could give it 6 stats I would! There's videos online on how to install, except not on how to place the foam blocks. The reason for this is (I think) sometimes you have to get creative since a lot of window frames are slightly different. We had to switch it up a little and Trump things down but it fit perfect in the end. The unit itself is so quiet compared to my others and it cools down 3 rooms! My dogs love looking out the windows and now they have that luxury while staying cool.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Wanted a room air conditioner that is quite to run at night while sleeping. I only been using it sìnce mid May and now it shuts off after 2 hours of use. The unit will start back up afte setting few hours
