    • Lock jams, broke key, warranty useless, no means of contacting customer service! BAD PRODUCTS
Claims to have a 10 year warranty. No actual company website. Customer service at Amazon is even a dead link. Paragon Lock And Safe Company Phone Number is out of service. No way whatsoever to get the warranty fulfilled when the electronic part of the safe quit working and the key/lock broke and won't open the safe or release the key.     • Can't be beat for the price
First off, this is not a safe to put your most valuable things in. If you are looking for maximum security and fire protection, look elsewhere. I would call this a strong box more than a safe. Anyone with a little savvy and enough time could get into it fairly easily. That being said, this is the perfect safe for small businesses where daily deposits are dropped and then collected every few days to bring to the bank. I have one of these in each of my three retail store locations and they have performed flawlessly for over a year now. The backup key is a nice feature too in case of an electronic malfunction.     • Worth the price, good safe
we use these safes as a way for cashiers to deposit their money at the end of the day, in case a store manager is not around at that immediate time. Once mounted to the floor, they aren't going anywhere. I do have a gripe with the control to open the safe, as the backside of it on one of the two I purchased needed to be opened and repaired. A pin was a little loose, allowing the locking mechanism to not function. It was an easy fix for me, but would be confusing for many others. Don't expect this to hold of any really dedicated thieves, as it could be pried open fairly easily, but would take much effort from amateur thieves. I wish I had more time for a good review because this product was perfect for my 2 small businesses. The deposit slot is large enough for a standard bank size bag even if it is very full. Many of these depository safes may allow for a standard bank bag but only at less than 2 inches think.     • Stopped opening after a year
This safe was very effective until the door had some issues closing. Had to lift the main door up to open/close for about the past week. today after opening it after a few failed attempts (not due to code or key issue) it is now unable to close. The safe door feels like it is caught on something but after looking and playing around with it, it is fully non operational. All screw, bolts etc. are in place. Pretty sad it only worked for about a year. There is no website for Paragon Lock & Safe, and I cannot find a way to contact the company directly. ... show more
