This is such a great couch. The other reviews are right—it is a bit low to the ground, and it does have a slight smell right out of the box, but it dissipated in a day. And it takes a bit to fully inflate, but it’s perfectly fine to sit on two minutes after unboxing. It just needs about a day or two to get out the last of the wrinkles and look cute and puffy. I haven’t had any issues with the metal bars sliding out—if you have silky carpet, you may have a bit of sliding and have to adjust it every couple of days. Hard wood or textured carpet is best! And it’s definitely very firm—it gets softer as it finishes inflating, but if you like a super plush couch, this is not for you. The firmness makes it sturdy! And throw pillows are a must for lounging, it’s very deep, lol. For the price this is fantastic. Very very happy! And it’s so cute! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We absolutely love this sofa! It's not too soft, providing great support, but is incredibly comfortable. It's so spacious that I can lounge on it after work, and it even doubles as a guest bed. The built-in side organizers are a game-changer—no more losing the remote! I'll start with the positives: -It does open up and expand as described and has a nice firmness and fullness once it is given time. -Showed up sooner than expected which was a nice surprise -Looks nice and is a decent (close enough) dupe to the sofa you don't want to spend the money on ;) Negatives: -The color Yellow is not a good match for what is represented in the photos. It is still a nice color but unfortunately ended up being a poor match for the design of the room. It is more of a burnt orangey color rather than the mustardy yellow we expected. Some variation in color can be expected most likely with the other color options -The corduroy seems to be chunkier than you see in photos and susceptible to matting over time. Speaking of which a number of the 'creases' from being packed have persisted even after following the directions to iron them out. They are permanently crushed and creased where it creates dark ripple like lines. I'm sure over time this fits the natural wear, but initially it makes it seems poor quality. -Two of the metal bars had some black paint like substance splattered on it which we've since been able to remove with a magic eraser and/or acetone. The real kicker was the poor experience we had with the seller. As described above we were unhappy with the purchase and initiated a return due to the flaws. I was given the only option to drop off at UPS for return shipping. As this is something that significantly expands after opening, it is unlikely you can get it into your vehicle let alone get it to UPS, it is also fairly heavy and difficult to carry alone once expanded. Working with the seller we were unable to reach any resolution to get this sent back, and Amazon's A to Z guarantee did not end up being helpful as the solution was to work with UPS to arrange some type of pickup and pay for that out of pocket, and then hope for Amazon to refund and reimburse the return shipping. Not only is that a huge hassle and risk, but also extremely wasteful as that easily ends up costing more than the price of the sofa and thus contributes to the waste cycle. Lesson learned shopping for things like this on Amazon, especially when working with this category of 3rd party seller who operate and make their own decisions on returns/refunds/etc. which is less supported than your typical Amazon purchase. This may not be a bad buy by any means for many, and the seller did provide an option for partial refund, so if you're on the fence about having some of these same issues, at least there may be some resolution that way if needed. ... show more

We recently purchased this couch for our cabin because it is in a very remote location and “regular furniture” is difficult to move and deliver. I chose this one specifically because our basement window is located low to the ground and this allowed us to let in lots of light with its low-profile. Delivery was super easy! We were able to fit this entire couch in our small car and drive it over the dirt roads before unpacking. I was a little worried about the smell in our cabin as some reviewers had mentioned, but there was no noticeable odor. The couch is definitely firm! My husband was worried that something packaged so small with no inside frame would be floppy but it was quite the opposite. The cushions themselves are actually pretty hard and I do need to use several pillows to make it feel comfortable. As far as seating, it sits very deep. Again, pillows are a must if you want to sit in this comfortably. The back is also very low (but that’s why we bought it!) The frame “mostly” holds it together. We have it backed against a wall which helps. I’m not sure that it would stay together without that. My kids LOVE building little forts out of this couch and re-arranging the thick cushions. It’s perfect for a playroom and the two twin-sized cushions that it comes with are good for kids sleepovers. (Although firm as mentioned) Overall, it’s not the most comfortable couch ever but it fits our needs for this space perfectly. ... show more

Perfect for what I needed for my kids. It is lower then a regular sofa so dont expect it to be the height of a regular sofa. It does say that in the description on the height in inches. I have animals so what I did was buy 2 twin zip up water proof mattress protectors and put each piece in that leaving the angled supports separate of course. I also put fitted twin sheets on each of the mattress parts. That did not change the comfort or how it expanded out. I am just trying to make sure it has a long life with kids and animals on it. I have a mobility issue with arthritis is my hips and back. I do not find this harder or more painful to get up from then a regular sofa. I would buy this again. Only thing I would say is it needs to be against a wall cause with the way my kids and animals are it would be off kilter if it wasnt. But again for what it is that is to be expected so doesnt change my opinion. BTW I have 4 kids, 2 dogs and 5 cats and so far it is holding up great ... show more
