It’s the inexperienced User not the machine. Not all homes have a clean out. If you’re clearing the short distance of your kitchen and getting stuck at the vent, the cable will get twisted up hi the tip is not turning. It’s common sense but I had to jump to my stack to clear my kitchen and this machine was a champ. People think you put the cable through the pipe and a good machine would rip through. Not the case, if so plumbers wouldn’t have work. Clearing a tough stoppage is 85% common sense and patience. To think you’re just gonna run a machine and you’re gonna be good, then write a bad review when it doesn’t go your way, then you need to call a plumber. I’m not a plumber but I’m knowledgeable in many fields and it’s not difficult to learn how drainage works. This machine is excellent for the price and only gets tangled when the user has no clue how to run one of these!!!

Average cost of a plumber snaking your line is $150-200, and finding them available is frustraring!! I've used this machine 3 times and everytime successful! Paid for itself already! Simple functions, forward backward. 75ft reach is perfect for longer sewer lines to house structures. Simple to retract. Remember, this is a manual forward, which means you insert the snake until you feel resistance, then you activate the forward function. If it gets stuck, you reverse function. To retract, it's also manual. DO NOT REVERSE WHEN RETRACT. IT Will coil itself while you insert it back in it's drum. Nice simple machine, helpful when needed. Remember this model does not forward insert or retract itself!! Nice investment for any property owner!

Our house has old pipes and sometimes gets things caught, this has been a life saver! Now we don't have to call the plumber every time it backs up and my husband can just bust this baby out and take care of it ourselves. All for less than the cost of one visit from roto rooter to come do it for us and pray we don't have to have them come out again in the next day or two!

Drain cleaner snake started up well and before it reached the end it started to get tangled. My husband had to pull it out to untangle it twice. This made the cleaning of the pipe unsuccessful and he had to stop and get a professional plumber to complete the job. This is however the first time it was used since the purchase back in November of 2022. I would like a replacement or repair. Please respond.
