  • Great auger, works well.
Model: 72CC
This post hole digger worked well. It was easy to assemble. We first dug out 4 inches for the hole, then set the auger down. The trick to keeping it from jumping around is to get some top soil removed. And most of all- go down in the hole about a foot or so and bring the auger back up with the dirt, then down the hole again another foot or so, bring up the dirt, and repeat till you reached your depth. That way the auger won’t get stuck in the hole. The post hole digger is a good size to work with and not so heavy. Definitely read instructions and reviews from those who have been used to working with this kind of tool. Definitely use your “elbow grease” (meaning your strength) to control the unit to stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings. ... show more

  • A good all around Auger🙂
Model: 62CC
There sure are a bunch of these post holed diggers out there for sale. Reviews have been mixed. This 62 cc auger came very well packaged. I was missing nothing. Set up was easy, put fuel into it started on second pole. And every subsequent pull after that without issue.A lot of the reviews that I read, are of people who should not be using this product because they DON’Tknow how to use it. Hire somebody versus giving a bad review on a product that you don’t know how to use.Eg (Don’t dig with the 8” Auger to the full 36” and expect to pull it out of the ground. Come on. That’s operator error. And then give a one star review on the product you don’t know how to use. You know who you are. For me, I have had zero issues with this post hole digger. I live outside of Hot Springs Arkansas and there’s a lot of small rock in our 10 acres. I have dug several holes with zero issues. Yes you have to manhandle the auger, but that’s what an auger is when you drill into dirt. You’re not drilling into water. You are going to meet some resistance. People also complained about breaking the plastic and breaking the throttle handle. All auger’s have the same throttle and the same plastic on the head of the motor and around the air filter. If you drop the auger, (Yes you) you can expect that something’s going to break. There again if it was all metal and dropped and got bent people would write a poor review about that as well I’m sure. It all has to do with the operator. To sum up, I have had zero issues with this product, it has served my purpose well. ... show more

  • Attttt
Model: 72CC
Shipping was fast, it dug 4 foot deep holes with zero effort. Starts right up every time . This is the second post hole digger I have purchased in my life. I sold the last one. I like this one so much I’m keeping it.

  • Fantastic buy!!
Model: 72CC
For me, this thing is a BEAST! Made sure the gas mix was right at 25:1, attached kill switch and filled it up! A friend had a vinyl fence to install in early January in eastern NC. I share that as our frost level is pretty shallow and we don’t get “that” cold so the ground wasn’t that bad. We do not have a lot of clay, a list of sand. It is farm country so soil quality is also good. These factors likely played a roll in performance. That said, here are my pros/cons: Pros: 1. Comes with both a 6” & 8” auger about 25” overall for each. 2. Comes with 2 extensions and we used the short to get to about 31” in depth for each hole. 3. The gas mixing container comes in the kit to isolate from other gas mixes for other gas tools (I have 40:1 & 50:1 tools) and couldn’t find any premixes at the box stores. 4. Very easy start after about 10 pumps on the bubble to get fuel to the carburetor. Could have pulls and started like a champ! Did about 50 holes, 8” diameter @ 31” in depth. 5. Comes as a kit with EVERYTHING needed to get started (except gas/oil). CONS: 1. The kill switch became nonfunctional after the first 6 or so uses. Likely loose connection but I have not fixed yet. Not a game changer for me as all we needed to do was choke it and move choke lever back. For us, no biggie. 2. None. All in all, I REALLY like this auger! Once we were done with the fence, I emptied the gas tank back to the little gas can in the kit and stored it (still need to fix the kill switch). Guys that I was helping really liked it as well and could not believe how much I paid for this puppy. HIGHLY recommend!! ... show more

  • Good product, poor supporting information.
Model: 72CC
This machine is good value for the money, once you get past the user manual, which is either poorly translated from Chinese or written by someone who does not have English as a first language. Also, much is left for the users to discover for themselves, which should not be; also there is no contact link for any sort of customer service or parts replacement. ... show more

  • constructive comment
Model: 62CC
constructive comment: Picture is mis leading as the items clearly come with only 2 augers but picture shows 3 augers. I think this should be corrected.

  • Will save you a ton of time for digging.
Model: 62CC
Works great and saved me a ton of time I used this auger to dig holes for a new fence, and it worked way better than I expected. It was easy to set up and simple to use, even for someone without much experience. It powered through the soil quickly and made the whole job much faster. No complaints so far—highly recommend if you need to dig a lot of holes. ... show more

  • Extremely Dangerous!
Model: 72CC
The media could not be loaded. This machine is extremely dangerous! It just starts operating on its own without anyone touching the throttle! And if you try to grab it, it has a lot of power behind it. It’s a broken arm or wrist, or heaven forbid something even worse, waiting to happen. When it’s not going crazy through and as long as you don’t encounter any rocks or roots, it’s great at digging holes. ... show more
