I don't know what all to say, it drives me crazy how car makers can find ways to make it so that something as simple as a speaker is not a universal fit. This adapter is not necessary, you can just cut the wires and put your own connector. But if you don't want to have to change the vehicles wires, this was good... simple plug and play. But you might run into one other problem... the weird speakers in the vehicle have the wires on the outside of the door, just under the liner, while aftermarket speakers all have the wires inside the door, so you may need to drill a hole to move the wires through. But for electrical connection, this works. ... show more

These are the only option for me. I would definitely recommend these adapters for your door speakers versus cutting the factory wiring harness. This is way more professional than splicing.
