Works great, very relaxing. The heat can get very hot and the adjustable neck massager is heavenly. The kneading action is great too. I am a 6'1" athletic man and the pressure is great and makes my sore muscles feel better. The movement is similar to the massage chairs at my gym. I imagine if you are heavier than you used to be, that would play a significant role in how any massage will feel. My lastvhomedic massager lasted forever with lots of use.

I really like this chair but I do find the top massager that does the neck and shoulders needs to be able to move down further to close the gap between the set of massagers below it. Other than that I really do get great relief from this. It definitely loosens me up and gets rid of knots in my muscles. I enjoy having the heat on the massager and it is really relaxing. I would buy it again.

Purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift after I threw out his old iJoy Human Touch Massage Chair. He loved the iJoy chair but the pleather was peeling off after 7 years of use. We had both tested the HoMedics Shiatsu Elite Cushion and really liked it. I took a chance on the Elite II and of all the massage cushion/chairs we've tested and purchased over the years, this one is the BEST. It beats chairs that are 5x more expensive. PROS: The most amazing feature is the adjustable height of the neck/head massager. I'm 5'4 -5'5 and this actually kneads my neck and trap areas. AMAZE BALLS. This was for my husband but I actually USE this massage chair all the time. The pre preprogrammed options are fantastic but you can easily customize the height, width, heat on or off, rolling or kneading to your body's content. EASY TO USE. There is a chair that you can purchase from Homedics that fits this unit with a place for the remote, but the cushion fit perfectly on our modern gray rocker swivel chair and really works with our modern decor. It's in our living area and isn't obtrusive (or ugly) and the gray color doesn't stick out. EASY ON THE EYES Friends take turns sitting in the chair and LOVE using it when they come over. It's considered the best seat in the house when they discover it. One of my dear friends is a board certified acupuncturist/massage therapist and she ADORES the chair and she usually doesn't like these things. Can't recommend this chair enough. No Cons to this item.

The quality of the deep tissue massagers is durable, it is a true deep tissue massager. It does have heat and you can feel it almost instantly, it is easy to use with the remote and has multiple options so it works for everyone’s preferences in my home, it has a decent length powder cord but could be a bit longer to make to make it easier to reach power outlets without having to move furniture but it is able to go on almost every chair in our home including the recliner. Overall very happy with the massager.

This brand went downhill. I had purchased one of their massagers 10 years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond that was 1000 times better than their new massagers and the old verison even had a joystick so you can reach any spot you want. The rollers were actually stronger too. I don't know what happened to this company but they just don't care to make a good product anymore. Sucks because I had their great messages for 10 years ago and it just broke and now I can't buy the same quality massager. DON'T BUY IT'S GARBAGE!

Massager works well. It fits comfortably into a chair with a velcro strapping system. The functions include various adjustment settings for heat, neck height adjustment, kneading massage, neck/shoulder massage, upper and lower back massage, and much more. I although I liked the product, it was heavier than I expected and came in a huge box. I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller so that I don’t have to struggle with transporting it. Also, before using it, the manufacturer instructions require you to remove two screws from the back of it and warns you to NOT put those screws back or it would damage the massager. That was a bit off-putting. Other than my listed concerns, product is over all good.

I have a tendency to get knots in my shoulders and neck. This actually works hard enough to work the knots out. If you can’t aford to go to a massage therapist for several visits, the really helps. Worth the money.

This is my 3rd massager by Home Medics over the years and they've gotten me thru some tough times with muscle tightness. I wore out the previous two. This one does fine though the shiatsu balls don't offer as good upper back massage as previous ones. They don't seem to be large enough and don't really come into good contact with upper back to provide good massage. The lower back shiatsu does a very good job. The neck massage feature does fine - I do find that I need to sit on 1 or 2 throw pillows to raise my body in order to get the massager to reach area between shoulder blades.
