Very nice cabinet, attractive color. It's large enough to store SO many items. It took awhile to put together, but it is very sturdy when finished. The big middle drawer is a huge plus -- no more wooden spoons jamming the drawer. I find these metal cabinets so much more attractive than the plastic wood kind -- this is metal, and it's not trying to hide it.

When the cabinet was delivered, I happened to be in my driveway and the bottom of the box popped open as the delivery person was carrying it. Still, all the pieces inside were in perfect condition, thankfully. The bottom of the box was taped well, but I guess still not quite enough. Even though these are metal cabinets, they look really nice. The paint on them has a bit of an effect like painted wood. The paint finish had no flaws and is pretty durable and easy maintenance, though I wish they offered touch up paint that could be purchased just in case scratches happen...especially with the peacock blue because that could be tricky to match. I got the peacock blue because it would be a great accent to the same color in oriental rugs in the room I have these. I've had these rugs for many years, but never until now had just the right item to bring out that blue. The assembly instructions are pretty easy to follow, but I found you don't have to do the steps in the order of the booklet, and it was more practical to do it this way instead (I'm an engineer who regularly works with manufacturing build sequences): 1) assemble back panels A & B on their back. 2) while still on its back, attach side panels C & D. 3) while still on its back, attach cross bars E, M, and R. 4) attach lower bottom F while still on its back (it will be easier to install the screws) -- don't install the second F piece yet (the middle bottom above the drawer). 5) instead go out of order and install the leg pieces G and the screw in feet -- if this will be sitting on a hard surface, I recommend sticking round felt pads on the feet so this can easily slide. 6) put the cabinet upright and install the top H. 7) install the drawer brackets onto side panels C & D -- it will be easier to see where to place them in the square cutouts if you do this now. 8) then install the second F piece, the middle bottom above the drawer area. 9) assemble the drawer, insert the side slide brackets and install the handle -- install the drawer into the cabinet. 10) install the shelves (it will be easier to place them while the doors are off). 11) install the doors -- you can install the diagonal trim pieces before installing the doors or after. I recommend installing the handles after the doors are installed, but before putting the magnets on so you have something to pull them open in case you shut the doors (it will be tricky if they close with the magnets and there is nothing to pull them open). If the doors don't hang quite even, on whatever door may be hanging lower, install an adhesive felt strip along the bottom of the door to give it a little lift. Ta da! That's all there is to it. These are very roomy cabinets with lots of storage space. Now, I thought I didn't receive all the RR screws needed to attach the trim pieces to the doors (which are also used to attach the top). I thought that strange because I would have sworn there were more than just the 6 needed for the top. I contacted the seller who was very responsive and sent me a pack of these screws. However, I then saw, when going up the stairs a few days later, where I was now able to see the tops of the cabinets (because I'm not as tall as these cabinets), that I had left the pack on the top when I screwed on the top. Oops. They were there all along. In fact, almost all the hardware had one or two extras, which is very nice. Very happy with this cabinet and with the seller. Thank you very much.

This thing is great. Ot looks like wood but is metal and a decent build quality as well. I like that the areas that need reinforcement are done with metal support. I can honestly say it took me an hour to build and was very easy. Just follow the instructions as printed. They don't mention the floor piece that just drops in and fits. That took me a couple minutes to figure out but was easy. A drill makes it easier on your hand with a Phillips bit. Go slow with low torque on the bit and you will be fine. I really was surprised at the quality for the $$. This also supports my 8-year-old heavy LCD 55" TV. No bending or sagging in the metal. The only other suggestion to make this thing super strong is to use thread locker fluid medium to heavy on some screws. But overall, it is solid and I am very happy with the purchase. Shipping was quick too! I probably will buy more of this company's products in the future.

I was on the last step of building the unit when I noticed that the top right door was defective. The two holes for the latch magnets were on the hinge side of the door rather than the handle side. After a long series of communications with the seller, trying to get a replacement door, they finally just sent me a whole new storage cabinet! I guess they had no way to send just the door. The cabinet seems to be well-made and nice-looking. I did find assembly to be difficult and time-consuming. There are many blind screws. I often had to use a small mirror to make sure the pieces were aligned before installing the screw by feel. I recommend obtaining a nut driver of the correct size to hold the nut in place while you insert the bolt with the other hand. A magnetic screwdriver to hold the screw or bolt is also very useful. I took one star off because of the difficult assembly. I thought about adding it back again because of getting a free second cabinet but, hey, that was to correct their mistake, right? :-)
