I had been in the market for some additional pantry storage and spent some time looking at wooden and melamine options only to be disappointed by the maximum weight ratings for the cabinet as a whole or per shelf. I was delighted when I stumbled across these I was delighted by the not only the sturdiness of the cabinet, but also the style. Most metal cabinets are boring and lack style, I love the mission style in the door. The cabinets arrived in a timely fashion, with easy to read instructions and when I had an issue with the cabinet they were incredibly prompt in responding via email and helping me resolve the issue. TLDR: - Looks nice, doesn't scream "metal cabinet". - Super easy assembly, about 30 min. - Shelves fully adjustable along entire length. - Holds a ton of heavy stuff. - Will ding and bend easy if not careful. These cabinets (purchased 2) are exactly what I needed. They also look nice with their smooth white satin finish and slight sheen. I chose them for the high weight capacity of the shelves, to store canned goods. (Most wood-type shelves are only rated between 25-50 lbs.) The cabinets are very easy for 1 person to put together. It took me about 40 minutes for the first one with figuring out the instructions. The 2nd one took about 30 minutes. They are held together with 41 screws. Working by myself I leaned the side pieces against something to prop them up while attaching the screws and before the bottom brace piece was attached. I needed an "extra hand" at one point and just used masking tape to hold the part in place on one side. Super easy and quick assembly. The drawback with metal cabinets is that they can get dinged up easily. Anything hard or with a sharp edge bumping into them even slightly will leave a dent, potentially also damaging the paint finish. So, these would not hold up well against rambunctious kids or large dogs rough housing and banging into them. Despite being very well and tightly packaged at the factory, some parts were slightly bent or had dents on the edges. (Therefore the 1 star deduction.) Thankfully I could carefully bend them back or the damages were in areas not visible on the outside. Overall I'm absolutely happy with these cabinets and they are exactly what I needed. They hold A TON of canning jars. The jars' cardboard trays fit perfectly. I prefer to store jars in the trays for easier moving and rearranging, as well as double stacking dry goods. The shelves are fully adjustable along the entire length of the cabinet, by 1 inch increments. (No limited pre-drilled holes as in the wood-types.) ... show more

The pantry shipped very fast and arrived in a well-protected package with galvanized steel at the ends and styrofoam between the pieces. There were no scratches and only one small dent on an inside piece that caused no problem. All the parts and pieces were clearly labeled and included in the package, as well as a screwdriver and a pair of cotton gloves. The assembly instructions were clear. A couple in their seventies put it together in less than two hours. The shelves and the cabinet feet are both easily adjustable. The overall appearance of the pantry is good and, from a distance, appears to be a solid wood cabinet. The magnets on the top of the doors function well but the magnets on the bottom of the doors do not. Overall, we are favorably impressed with the quality of this cabinet and its reasonable price. ... show more
