We got this metal cabinet to use for storage and organization in our garage. It's a nice big cabinet with 4 shelves. It's deep enough to store things like crates full of pool toys or my husbands larger tools. This cabinet needs to be assembled. It wasn't too hard but it did take a little time to do - maybe 45 minutes to an hour (granted that was with my 4 yo "helping"). My one issue with this cabinet is that it has to be locked in order for the doors on it to stay latched closed. Otherwise they swing wide open.. It's annoying to have to unlock and lock it every time I want to look for something in that cabinet. I don't know if it was designed to be that way of if its just ours that does that. I also have to push the door in with my foot to get it to close enough to fully lock. It's a lot more effort than I'd prefer.

This review is for the JAORD Metal Storage Cabinet,70.9 Steel Lockable File Cabinet with Doors and Adjustable Shelves,Tall Garage Tool Cabinet for Office Home (Black). It is relatively easy to assemble, took me about 2 hours to do by myself. I am short so it would likely take less time for someone of average height because you won't need a stool. Ha! The metal does fingerprint easily so if that bothers you, wear gloves during the assembly? Or be prepared to wipe it all down with some effort afterward. I thought I was going to use this as like a utility closet for cleaning supplies and home repair odds and ends, but it actually ended up being the perfect storage for all of our homeschooling supplies! As a military family we move often and closet space is often in short supply. This cabinet is durable and can hold a lot, with 5 shelves there is plenty of real estate for organization of various school supplies, from binders, worksheets, and crafts, to science kits and curriculum manuals. Because the cabinet is metal I can also use heavy duty magnetized shelves on the outside to keep our daily work easily accessible and organized. I am hopeful we will be able to utilize this cabinet for years to come!

This is an excellent storage cabinet. After full assembly it is very sturdy. It holds a ton of stuff, and it is very good quality. The lock wont keep out anyone with even the slightest amount of motivation to get into this thing - the metal of the cabinet is pretty thin and could be torn apart with a crowbar in a second or two in my opinion. BUT this is a great storage cabinet, so I have no complaints about it at all.

I acquired this storage cabinet through Vine. I was interested in the product for additional storage in my garage. It was easy to assemble. The directions are clear and all parts, including bags of hardware, are all labeled. In terms of storage, you end up with the bottom of the cabinet, four adjustable shelves, and then I even have a few boxes on top of the cabinet. The cabinet is lockable. It comes with two keys. It measures 31.5 inches wide, 15.75 inches deep, and 70.5 inches tall. I do not know the weight capacity of the base, shelves, or top of the cabinet. The instructions indicate it should be secured to the wall.

Wasn't too difficult to assemble. Took about 1 1/2 hours total start to finish. I like that the shelves are adjustable. Was able to insert and remove the shelf clips to better fit my gardening supplies with no trouble. The doors fit plum and open and close just fine. The back panel, which consists of 2 pieces, is bit thinner metal than the rest of the unit but that doesn't seem to be a problem once you have placed the cabinet where you intend to keep it. For me, that's against a wall in my garage.
