This is a solid choice for a dashcam. We've had it installed on our Skoolie for about a year, traveling around the country and seeing the sights. We use the second camera to record the inside of the bus, and use footage for youtube and TikTok videos. The image quality is very high and the device itself is pretty intuitive to use. The automatic event detection sometimes triggers on harsh bumpy roads, but if you're in a regular car or pickup truck this is probably not going to be an issue. My advice if you're recording in the native 4k is to grab any interesting footage after every drive, even with the large sd card you're not going too far back in time! The night vision is pretty good and the built in speed and gps coordinates are super useful too! I added a few samples from driving around in Arizona under different conditions, judge the quality for yourself!

Very good product for the price. The 4K claim seems ambitious, but overall the quality is good day and night. The only minor complaint is the crash sensitivity is very low and if you go over a bump it saves the recording in a protective area thinking it was an incident. This can be adjusted, but out of the box it’s a little sensitive. Installation was easy. There’s enough wire to install the rear facing camera without issue even in a large SUV. Downloading snippets a video takes a while. A one minute clip could take 30 to 45 seconds to transfer to the phone not a dealbreaker as it is something I don’t do that often. For what you get at this price I have recommended it to others.

Easy to install, both front and rear cameras provide good quality both under clear light and in dim/dark conditions. Menu is easy to navigate. I cannot judge about camera's G-sensors' work, because camera is connected to the third party security system installed on a vehicle which turns cameras on and off based in its own sensors. What I dislike: you have to register in xiaomi site to use all features of mobile apps, also a lot of functionality is available only through wifi connection, so if your phone is connected to car's system using wifi (in my case it's Uconnect by Sellantis), then to download videos you need to disconnect the phone form the car and to reconnect to the camera. This makes things boring. As about ADAS and other systems installed on camera - I have tested them, and they seem working, though I keep them off as I do not need them. So overall impression is good camera with a lot of of optional functionality which may or may not be used.

I purchased the 70mai 4K Dash Cam (Front and Rear) from Amazon about a month ago, and it has exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. Installation & Aesthetics The installation process was surprisingly straightforward. I was able to tuck the cables into the interior molding of my car completely, leaving no unsightly wires hanging across the dash or down the console. Once installed, both the front and rear cameras are incredibly unobtrusive—you hardly notice they are there, yet they work precisely as intended. Ease of Use The built-in Wi-Fi 6 makes a noticeable difference in connectivity. The companion app is "super easy" to navigate, allowing for quick setting adjustments and smooth footage playback. Why I Bought It The decision to buy this wasn't just about the tech; it was about protection. My daughter-in-law recently shared a heartbreaking story about one of her patients who was a victim of a serious car accident. Despite suffering a crippling injury, the patient is currently trapped in a legal nightmare because the driver at fault is denying responsibility and there were no witnesses. After hearing about that ordeal, my daughter-in-law immediately installed a dash cam in her own car and recommended I do the same. While I hope I never actually have to retrieve recording from it, seeing how much is at stake in an accident makes this a very prudent investment. Final Verdict If you are looking for a high-quality 4K system that is easy to set up and offers "set-it-and-forget-it" reliability, I highly recommend this 70mai kit. To be honest, I've had some real issues with this camera at the very start, but 70mai have really risen to the challenge and sorted these problems out for me. In addition, I've even gotten compensation for these issues. Once I've got this camera working properly, I've got to say that the quality is honestly fantastic for what I've paid for. The 4K video quality is just super crisp and clear. I also really appreciate how in-depth I can get with the camera to customize how I want it to work. I've got to say that my favorite part of this camera is the parking mode. I've got to say that this has worked really well for me and given me a lot of peace of mind.
