The front brake pads rub the disc and there's no way to adjust it. The back brakes don't grip very well and there were chips and scrapes on my rims, brand new out of the box. And it's way too much hassle to try to return it.So I guess i'm just stuck with it. Also, the kickstand is too long And when you have it down , the bike doesn't lean and is likely to fall over. The bike is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the brake discs had warping. Even my bike tech couldn’t fully get the warp out. It could have easily been damaged in shipping. The box said this side up and when I got it the bike was laying on it’s side with the weight of the body on the wheels. So as much as it broke my heart I had to send it back. I am disabled and don’t have the strength to keep hauling it back and forth. But a younger person will love it. It doesn’t weigh much and could be a great commuter bike or racing bike. Customer service was extremely helpful and understanding of the circumstances. They gave me the instructions on how to ship it back. I ordered the white one and they sent me a black one . Still looks nice and it’s not a big deal . It’s been 30 years since I rode a bike. this one is basic but I’m pleased so far with the small bit that I have rode . I ordered a more comfortable seat and added pedals with straps . No clue why I need pedals with straps but the stock seat looks very painful for a 50 year old. 4 stars for sending wrong color ... show more

Upgraded from a heavy steel bike, and WOW—the aluminum frame makes such a difference! The V-brakes work perfectly in dry weather (I use discs when it rains). Assembly took 30 minutes, and the seat is surprisingly comfy for long rides. Only nitpick: the pedals are basic, but that’s an easy swap.

As a new cyclist, I wanted something reliable but not overwhelming. The 14-speed system is intuitive, and the dual brake options (I prefer the discs) make me feel safe. The handlebar grips could be plusher, but overall, it’s a fantastic starter bike. Shipped with zero damage too!
