I have both the Dyson Airwrap and this, I thought maybe this review might help those of you considering this as an alternative to Dyson. The device itself (without any attachments) functions almost identically to the airwrap (aside from the cold shot which I noticed to be missing). I blowdry my hair without any attachments on both and noticed the power on this is way stronger than the Dyson airwrap and my hair dries in a fraction of the time. The attachment configuration is slightly different, where this one comes with two of the same size barrel heads for curling just in different directions (Dyson has two different sized curling barrelheads, each that is able to be turned in different directions) and instead of the whirlpool straightening technology it has the cushion brush for straightening. I have naturally straight hair so I can’t really compare the straightening effects with both. I love that this device comes with more attachments (also comes with the “O” shaped attachment similar to that of the first gen Dyson and an oval shaped brush.) and an actual storage bag (can’t believe dyson didn’t come with it at the price) that is—get this—HANGABLE!! And for a fraction of the price. Also came with multiple accessories which is nice- tail comb, hair clips, and one glove- which you’ll need to use while styling because this gets HOT. I do find myself reaching for this one over the dyson more and more. If you’re like me and want to blowdry your hair QUICK on a routine basis but do want to occasionally style your hair as well, this is for you!

I bought this as a gift for a family member, and she absolutely loves it. She said it’s much lighter, stronger, and doesn’t get nearly as hot as her old one. Also it dried her hair much quicker and all the attachments not too complicated to use. She can use to do so many hair styles with just this hair style.

This is an amazing hair tool. The attachments click and turn to secure to the base. The carrying case is super convenient and very high end. It includes a hanger so the case cab hang from a hook on the wall. The curling rods take a little practice but provide a nice curl when used correctly. The dryer is not too loud but definitely powerful. Overall I am very pleased with the product and feel that its a good value for the price.

This hair dryer was awesome when it worked - but it didn’t last very long. I bought it two years ago but it remained in the box for about 1 1/2 years because I was using another hair dryer. When I used this hair dryer I was very impressed by the performance. Unlike my previous hair dryer, I did not need to use a brush along with this dryer. It dried quickly and gave me that “Salon blown out look”. After only a few months it developed a loud screeching sound and had a smell like burning electrical insulation. I gave an overall rating of 1 star because it did not last very long. After it failed I went back and read other reviews and other people had similar issues. I would not recommend this hair dryer.
