I am driving my wife’s older car and my car has Apple play and that feature was something I felt I really missed driving her 2012 Honda. I got this not expecting a lot from it due to the price. But I was PLEASANTLY surprised. It is AMAZING. Easy set up! CarPlay works great. The mic is a little low but it’s not really a big deal for me. The sticky is really strong. You only get one chance to stick it. So make sure you know where you want it. It didn’t fit on my dash bc of the grooves on the car but I stuck it to the window and it’s fine. You can take the screen off easy by pulling up and put it away in case you are in an area that you don’t want it displayed while you are not in your car. ... show more

All in all, I have to say that I’m pretty happy with this unit. It pairs easily with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It has a built in FM modulator in addition to a hardwired output that can feed an aux input on most newer car audio systems. The display is sharp, and the touch screen is decently responsive. The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. I’ve only found a few drawbacks, and none of them are real dealbreakers: -If using the FM modulator, the unit “forgets” to leave it on from the previous session. This means that you have to power on the FM modulator through the menu each time you turn the unit on. -The microphone built into the face of the unit is fairly useless. If you’re connected to the unit, you’ll need to switch to an external headset or the native phone mic/earphone on your phone in order to complete your call. Callers have said that I sound like I’m speaking from the back seat. An external microphone that could be placed closer to the driver would be great. -The dimmer on the unit is too bright for nighttime use, even at the dimmest setting. -Videos streamed to the unit are way out of sync with the sound. -Occasionally I notice some clipping when using the FM modulator. Not sure if this could be remedied by using the aux cord option. This a great way to add CarPlay functionality to an older car stereo. I have always been bummed my car didnt have android auto. Its of the generation where there were screens but they had manufacturer software only. It wasn't til the yr after that my model car got android auto integration 🙄. I saw this, read the reviews and thought it was a great price so it was worth a shot. It was SO easy to set up and works marvelously. I use the aux cord for the sound (i know some peiple have issues with the fm transmitter). I did replace ite aux cable with a more heavy duty one becaus the one supplied woud occasionally crackle and pop. I also heate the stupid graphic that appears when it boot (car starts) but its only there for a second or two... Overall though, its fast, responsive, smooth, easy to use. Oh, but of you have steering wheel controls, they will not work for skip, pause, replay, any of that... Fyi. Gotta use the screen controls. ... show more
