I bought these because my original Ninja blade was leaking some really disgusting brown gunk out of the blade mechanism. It fit the blender cup perfectly, seemed sharp enough to make my smoothie, and didn't leak. So far I'm happy with it!

I use my ninja 5 days a week. These things never last more than 6 months or so. I have had one last longer but it's not the norm. This one made it 6 weeks before it started leaking past the shaft. It's either that or the bearings go out. Just bought a 2 pack with a new cup included. Supposed to be oem from ninja. We will see. On a side note the ninja base has lasted several years and is still going strong.
