The lights are a good price and straightforward to hang. However if you intend to put the brackets into wood, you will want to drill first and consider buying different screws. Even when I pre-drilled the hole, the head of the screws stripped easily and had to be replaced to complete installation.

The ability to 'daisy chain' the power for these is a HUGE win - no custom wiring needed, and about 40" of supplied leads between them. They also supply switch leads for 3 of them, as well as the other bits n bobs as shown in the photos (including blank covers for the 'end of the line' lamp. The clips they mount to seem a tad flimsy, but, if you don't break one (or a lamp) while installing them, it shouldn't be an issue. The 'triangular' (leds on two sides of the triangle) are a brilliant design :) and helps keep these lamps slim and light weight. But brightness wise they are lacking NOTHING - in fact, if anything, they are a bit too bright, or glarey....but are perfect for garage/shop lighting. The one 'beef' I had is that the screws supplied (to mount the clips to the ceiling with) are too cheap (several had defective head slots) and way too short (for just 1/2" drywall!), so I had to stop and go get all new screws to continue the install...esp. annoying for ladder work. Also - wouldn't you know it - the first one I installed had a faulty switch plug cable - but since I'm using all of them in one daisy chain, I was able to just throw out the defective one and use one of the others (of three supplied). So, if you have a good selection of quality screws on hand, and get luckier with the supplied interconnects, I'd say these are a very good solution, and not unreasonably priced, especially for how slim and super bright they are.

We needed some new lighting for our workshop and thought we'd put one over the workbench for task lighting and it's super bright! The rest are going up on the ceiling because they're much brighter than the existing fixture. These LED lights are superior to traditional fluorescent tubes, plus they're lightweight and can be configured in the pattern that works best for us. My husband and I are very impressed with the design and technology, so two thumbs up!

Overall, I love these lights. They are easy to install and are very bright. They can connected in series so that several lights can be operated from one switch/outlet. Each light is very lightweight and they are installed by simply clipping into a thin metal clip. Each light can be hard wired to a junction box with short wires provided or you can use a different provided cord to plug them into a standard 110v outlet, so lots of flexibility in usage. Because they are bright and easy to install, I really like them. I have just a couple minor complaints. As another reviewer pointed out, the screws provided to install the brackets are extremely cheap. Just toss them away and use a better screw, simple enough. Another complaint is how they are chained together. Included is a clip that directly connects two lights so that each light is nearly touching its neighbor. If you have a long ceiling this might be your choice. The other option is with a cord that is 4' long. So, either the lights are immediately adjoining or you use the 4' cord and wind the cord if they are not 4' away from each other. Not a big deal, but I would like to see an option in-between (maybe 1-2'?). Finally, you only get three 110v plugged wires for the six lights. So, you must chain some of them in series or you will need to hardwire some of them since you don't have six cords of either type. For me this wasn't an issue as I did chain three together. Just be aware of this limitation. But, makes a great shop/work light and I happily recommend them.
