I have another tablet like this one that I really liked and use it periodically. This one is just as good and serves as a great resolution to kids being a bit wild. This tablet allows you to lock the features that might not be the most appropriate for kids but has features that allow adults to use too. This helps ensure that they aren't using it excessively and that the content is age appropriate that helps promote not just fun but learning too. This has bumpers all the way around just in case they drop it, throw it, you know the average issues faced by parents.
