10/22/24 - Company shipped a new gas tank with hoses and cap, it took a few weeks but I didn't have to argue with them. Also, this unit specifies a 30:1 fuel/oil mix, which means I have to keep a separate can from my other tools. All in all I'd say it's now a 3.5 star, I will round up and give it a 4 since the seller corrected the problem. Pain to assemble compared to other models, but that's manageable. Trigger hard to pull, tires out the hand if not locking at full. I pulled the return spring from the throttle cable and the built in carb spring is plenty, so this was mitigated some. Starts and runs well, throttle cable was misadjusted and binding, easy fix. The deal breaker is pictured, this is out of the box cheesy hackmaster stuff, presumably to make insertion in the tank easier (too cold in factory?) Pops out and soaks you in fuel, unacceptable. I can fix for less than $10.00 of course, but should I have to? Otherwise it's a serviceable, albeit loud blower.

China cheap. Flex hose cheap would not start with factory spark plug had to buy NGK. DOES NOT RUN WELL ON 25:1 FUEL RATIO OK FOR BREAK IN. Throttle cable miss adjusted low high speed rpm due to throttle not opening completely readjust cable increases air flow w/o damage. But works well after this, for 160.00

This blower by far exceeded all expectations. I bought it as aback up to echo blower but I'm using it as much as the echo. Light weight, supper easy to use and assemble. Has great air flow to move even wet leaves.

Just finished assembling/using blower, and could not wait to write review of absolutely the WORST purchase I made in 50 years buying history. To think that this item is permitted to sell on AMAZON is jaw-dropping unbelievable. I HATED using this blower. Assembly okay, starting okay, but using it is a negative FIVE (-5) rating. I had to maintain full throttle to clear a few leaves and debris. The unit is suitable for short height persons, say 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 6 inches; the straps are exceedingly uncomfortable and do not permit the blower to remain on my average to broad, not slouching shoulders. Item repeatedly slid off my shoulders and onto my elbows. I had to stop and re-adjust but no adjustment permanently corrected this situation. Motor sounds as if it is struggling to maintain operation. I believe this blower is NOT adequately described in air movement; output is MUCH LESS than stated in ad. DO NOT PURCHASE! Doubt seller will accept return and refund purchase price within 24 hours of receiving the blower. YOU MUST PAY RETURN POSTAGE! SHAME ON YOU AMAZON AND SHAME ON YOU SELLER!
