Started easily, blows leaves like crazy, the backpack straps are designed for less portlier folks than I (6'5" #230). The assembly instructions rely on imagination, but there is a youtube video to make it a bit easier. I'm replacing a handheld blower made by homelite that I bought in 2008. Will this one make it 16 years? I doubt it. Do you get what you pay for? Yes, hence four stars. UPDATE: Spring 2026, a year and a half later, brought it out after a windstorm and it had no spark after sitting for a winter. Changing the coil isnt too hard, and if you look for a coil for an Echo EB650, they work and can be had for $12 here on Amazon. Set the clearance between the magnets and coil at 0.020" with feeler gauges and it works again. ... show more

Here are the negatives: Straps must’ve come off a Chinese child’s backpack unless you’re a shrimp no adjustment will fit the average male/female Engine sounds LETHARGIC at best, no way does this produce the CFM or wind speed as advertised as my Stilh BG50 handheld blower literally blows this thing away. ... show more

Starter broke the second time I used it. Definitely NOT worth the money. When it worked, it was great- the first time. The second time I got it out, the starter cord pulled right out (spring detached).
