I am very impressed with this cabinet. It is very heavy, you will need 2 people to move the box & I would suggest putting it together near where you plan to use it. It came very well packaged & the directions were pretty clear, just diagrams, no words but feel it was self explanatory & all pieces were labeled. It took me about 4 hours to put it together, hubby helped for the first 1/2 hour. I chose not to put the door on the middle part of the cabinet (I may add it later). I bought it to store my yarn and crochet accessories. It looks fabulous in my craft room. It is a beautiful cabinet.

I put this together myself, GIRL/SINGLE MOM-POWER (I seriously felt accomplished afterwards!!) It's so cute assembled. It did take me part of two evenings doing it completely alone, but it wasn't bad at all. I did the cabinet part of one evening and put together drawers and doors and installed the hardware/ hung the next evening.

First, I rarely write reviews but I had to do it this time to warn other potential buyers, that is hidden from the buyer. This is a beautiful cabinet. The self closing door were a nice surprise. I admit that I love the cabinet! The waning is the time consuming complex assembly. I am very experienced with putting things together and have several higher education degrees, so I am far from a novice or not very smart. As in most Chinese products the instructions are scant at best and I could not find a video on line. Once you start you are committed to several days of work and a big mess in your home. Because of the heavy weight (80-100lbs) this cabinet was assembled very close to its final location so the site was “under construction” for several days. It took 2-3 people about 30-35 total man hours to complete. Was it worth the effort? A DEFINITE NO! So unless your time “wasted” putting together this cabinet because you have nothing better to do, don’t try assembling this cabinet. It is just not worth the time or aggression. If I had to do it over I would NEVER do it over. Also once you start by unpacking all the parts, you are committed to days of aggravating assembly, because it very difficult to put back in the box to return.
