Having an ET-8500 Ecotank printer, I saw this 552 Fill Kit and had to try it out. Here's what I like: - Overall, I saw no difference in color and accuracy after printing some pictures back-to-back. - These refill bottles are 100ml instead of the brand E 70ml bottle, and the kit is still around 22% less expensive (with 30% more product). - The procedure for filling the tanks is exactly the same as the regular bottles - once a tank is full, it stops filling. The nozzles are keyed for each color so mixing inks by accident is very hard to do. - Following my fill-up, I ran a nozzle clean, and both vertical and horizontal alignments. No problems were observed, any changes required were minor for the alignments. - As noted above, I printed a few test prints before filling my reservoirs. I then reprinted the same pictures to see if the colors came out the same - I couldn't see any differences. The blacks take a couple minutes to completely dry, just like the regular ink. - 10 sheets of 4x6 glossy photo paper are also included. - Textual printing looks normal with no issues. Some comments... - I did get a couple drops of spillage from a couple of the bottles after filling a tank. I don't know if I inadvertently squeezed the bottle during removal or if this might be an issue. It didn't make a mess - I just closed the tank lid and moved on... - You might notice a couple shade differences in the side-by-side pictures attached to my review. Unfortunately, while taking the picture, I cast a shadow making the lighting different... - The final test for this ink would be its staying power (resistance to fade). I couldn't really comment on that due to time constraints. I'll keep an eye on that and if anything negative shows up, I'll update my review. - My reservoirs were at around 25% when I filled them with this ink. I'm assuming they mixed well during the fill process. While I'm wary of really cheap ink, I can recommend this kit. Again, if anything crops up, I'll quickly update my review.

The Eco Tank was supposed to come with 2 years of free ink. However, when it was time for a refill, those rascals at Epson suddenly lost all my registration information. Despite providing them with receipts and email verification, they never honored the ink refill. Ugh. Anyway I decided to refill with generic ink similar to this, and it worked fine. No problems. This is about my 4th refill, and my second time using Sublimaker ink - and again, no problems. I'm not sure if the colors are as crisp as OEM - but I use it for photo printing, and if there's a difference it's miniscule. I will add, however, that the heads on my 5150 did eventually clog up, around 3 years old. I've read that this is fairly common, and subsequently found an Ecotank Printhead Cleaning kit, which was relatively easy and fixed the problem. I do not attribute that to generic inks. This ink refills just like the OEM bottles, with no leaks. You only use about 80% of the bottle - which is great, because when you run out again, you have the remaining 20% to tide you over until you can get refills. If you're printing on paper, make sure to get this kind of ink (standard Pigment ink), not sublimation ink which is used for iron-ons, t-shirts, etc. One final note - I've been having intermittent mechanical issues with my ET-5150, with the sheet feeder, etc. It's only about 4 years old, and I can say the thrill has worn off. Meanwhile my 15 year old Epson is cranking along just fine. But in terms of this ink, it's easy to use, a good fit, and I think the best overall value and best bang for your buck.

I ordered the 600ML 552 Ink Refill Bottles 6 Pack for my Epson. I am happy with the good quality and value this set gives. It has all six important colors: Black, Photo Black, Gray, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. It also has a bonus pack of photo paper, and that was a nice surprise. Refilling the ink tanks is easy and does not make a mess. Each bottle has a smart nozzle that fit perfect with the printer. There is no risk of spills or overfilling. You can see the ink levels clearly. It is simple to know how much you are using. The print quality is good. The colors are rich and bright. The gray and photo black make the photo prints look better. The included photo paper makes good-looking results with a shiny, professional finish. This pack has a high yield of 600ML across six bottles. I will not need to buy more for a long time, even if I print often. This saves a lot of money compared to buying single Epson cartridges. In general, this refill pack is a great value. It has high-quality ink, it is easy to use, it works with my ET-8550, and it is perfect for photo printing.

I’ve been using these ink refill bottles for my printer, and they’re a fantastic find! The pigment ink delivers sharp, vivid colors and crisp text that hold up beautifully, even on glossy paper. Refilling was a breeze—the bottles are designed to pour cleanly with no mess, and they fit perfectly into the printer’s tanks. I’ve printed everything from photos to documents, and the quality is just as good as the original ink, with no smudging or fading after a few weeks. The five-pack is a solid deal, giving me plenty of pages—thousands, easily—without needing to restock soon.
