This fireplace is a great buy on a budget. It has a small assortment of colors for those looking for some diversity with a nice LED pathetic, while also providing an authentic real look if desired. The heat is decent, it definitely blows hot and does a good job warming the seating area that it’s placed in. Installation wasn’t difficult and it appears to be of a good quality! No issues so far and very happy with this purchase! Also came with several options for the interior glass- plastic crystals that are clear, or orange and black or a wood look option.

The media could not be loaded. So far so good!! This particular fireplace hit two of the major criteria we wanted that 99% of the other fireplaces did not. It is white, which goes with our decor better and it had a bottom heat vent. This installs with two heavy duty side brackets that are already attached to the fireplace As far as the heat, it heats just like any other two stage electric heater. Except it’s way more beautiful. I can see with absolute certainty that it is not as hot in here as it thinks it is. I cannot get the heat to turn on without maxing it out at 99°. This is not a gas fireplace. It’s not gonna run you out of the room or heat your whole house,—but it will take the chill off of the room for sure

After much research, we purchased this electric fireplace because our wood burning fireplace was no longer working and was not safe. We love having a fire, because it's so cozy and nice to look at. We struggled with finding one that met our measurements and I finally found this one. The manufacturer/seller even confirmed for me that this one would fit our enclosure...and it did! Perfectly! There are several different settings for flame color, height and heat. Also, the touch screen lights up when you turn the fireplace on, but then goes out, so you don't see the pad while you are enjoying your fire. We are very pleased with our purchase and I highly recommend this fireplace.

I have been looking at several electric fireplaces for a new build home and I had the opportunity to review this Dreamflame 50” electric fireplace as part of the Amazon Vine Program. I have been evaluating fireplaces for over a year and what I can say with some certainty is the more you pay the better the quality and the more realistic they look. This fireplace has a 50” x 18.34”x 5.46” outer box, if you intend to recess it into the wall you will need a 45.95” x 17.52” opening, the depth must be at least 5.01” It also has a 6 ft power cable if you are hanging it on the wall and just want to plug it into a nearby electrical outlet. I am a DIY type of gal but recessing and installing this in the wall is beyond my capabilities, especially since I would want it hardwired to a nearby outlet. Additionally, if recessing this into a wall, I have been told by a contractor that you will not want to cut out a load bearing wall so I guess this is something you have to think about when installing it. He said it would be better to build out the wall if I wanted it on a particular wall. If you have an existing fireplace cutout this should be very easy to install as long as your cutout is similar size. There are various sizes available so you may find one with the exact fit or similar to your cutout. With regards to functionality, this fireplace provides a nice ambiance to almost any room, it’s a great inexpensive one for a basement game or tv room and it also provides heat with a choice of two settings, 750 or to 1500 W, which is really nice feature because most basements are a little colder in the winter. Even if using it in a living room or bedroom it could help cut down your heating bills as well. This fireplace is operated by a remote control but also has a touch screen on the front right glass panel. I found the remote has to be aimed directly at the glass screen in order to operate the controls, I used the remote from about 6 feet but I did not try it from across the room so I am not sure how far the reach is but this might be another consideration when looking for an electric fireplace. I do have a few gripes about this Dreamflame fireplace, the biggest one is it doesn’t look that realistic, especially the original fuel bed where some colors make it look like an aquarium rather than a fireplace, but then again, it is one of the lower prices for an electric insert. The flames look realistic but the flame bed looks fake, especially with some of the odd colors like bright green and purple. You also have a choice of logs and crystals included in the box. The flame effects are offered in a variety of colors and brightness, it has 13 flame colors and 13 fuel bed colors, when combined there are 169 color combinations just by pressing the remote buttons or touch screen. Me personally, I would probably only use the ones that look like true flames but there are definitely many combinations and a choice of effects. Originally when taking this out of the box I was surprised the glass could not be opened easily to remove the protective cardboard inserts, the glass is only removable with screws on the side so you will want to add your logs or crystals first before installing it. Additionally, we had a few chips in the plastic log insert that will require some painting, I tried a Sharpie but more of the plastic chipped off so I would be careful handling this piece. Overall, this is a lower end electric fireplace with both flames and heat at a very good price. I don’t know that I would put this in a living room or family room where it is part of the room decor- I would probably look at a little higher end insert, but it is a decent fireplace for a basement, game room or maybe a bedroom. This fireplace has lots of features and functionality, it has numerous flame effects and combinations and also has a two level heater. On a budget this a nice choice for an electric fireplace, it’s easy to operate, has many features and adds a little ambiance to any room.

I ordered 2 packs of the acrylic logs one for my living room electric fireplace and one for my master bedroom fireplace. Both fireplaces are different brands but fit these logs in perfectly. Great size for most fireplaces I would recommend these to anyone who wants to elevate the look of their electric fireplace!
