I was able to get this installed in my home. Originally I bought it cause it looked cool. Now that we are in the winter I am actually using the heater and it warms up super fast and works great. I truly recommend this product. It has a great design and easy to install.

Purchased this fireplace as the main heat source for our newly finished basement. Installation was straightforward~ hubby had it done in just under an hour. Recessed it into the wall and it looks fabulous. Really like the many choices of colors for the flame which gives lots of mood enhancing options. Digital display is on the front when using the remote is bright and easy to read from afar. On high it works well and warms nearly instantaneously the aprox 400 square foot space. Very quiet too. Obviously it doesn't replace the roof of a real fire, but it also doesn't leave a mess of ashes to clean up. The "flames" look pretty real and you can change from orange to blue or a combination. The remote works good. Don't expect much heat from it. I've put it up to 72 degrees, but it's warm at best. Definitely won't heat a room. The noise that is meant to mimic a burning fire is too loud and would be much better if I could lower the volume on it. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves it and said, "Baba made me a new fire"! That' the best critic for the product - she's a happy girl with Baba's new fire! ... show more

This fireplace looks very nice in appearance, unfortunately it doesn’t exude heat. I’ve had it for loss than two months and it’s been installed for less than a month, the heat has only worked once since receiving it. Not worth the money at all

It’s not really 43”. It’s 36”. The “flames” are 36”. The glass is 43”. It’s kind of loud but the heat is good and the image looks good too. Lots of bright colors. Easy to install. The only issue is where the chord is. It comes out the side. It obviously needs to be installed between 2x4s so you have to slide in the side the the chord protruding out the side first and make sure you have enough room to slide in the other side.
