Saved so much money on these tarps compared to buying local. Even at menards they wanted over $100. I use them for all things camping. On top of the tent when It rains, as a floor in sandy campsites, and I even used it to connect two tents together. Great deal!

Bought these for use in a 6.5' bed Truck. Unlike the much more common mylar tarps, these don't flail around in the wind, are darned stout and have some solid weight. I like these a LOT. Just keep em clean after use and they'll last a looooong time :)

The description is deceptive and so disappointing. I bought this canvas tarp to cover an old patio 2 person swing whose upholstery had given out. I would have tossed it, however it is one of my cats favorite places to sleep. I thought this product would be the perfect cover to get a few more seasons out of the swing. When the package arrived I could smell the over powering chemical rubbery smell before I even picked up the package. Opening the box and removing the plastic bag the tarp was unbelievably strong. I wrote to the seller and they suggested that I air it out. I hung it on the clothes line for over a week and even though it was exposed to 2 rain storms and very windy days the smell has only diminished by half which is still unacceptable. There no way I could expect my cat to sleep on it. I do not believe this tarp uses organic silicone for its waterproofing. In fact, the tarp has sharpie writing on it. Why? I was going to return it but decided to use it to cover outdoor equipment since it is at least waterproof.

Two weekends ago we were heading out on a weekend ice fishing trip. I had literally just bought this tarp to cover our trailer, which is nothing fancy but had never had a problem and pulled well with my Durango. We loaded up the trailer with all of our ice fishing gear, which as anyone who is involved in said activity knows is quite spendy. I fastened the tarp to the trailer using a bungee system that I nicknamed "cat's cradle," and I felt quite proud of my MacGyver inspired achievement. Ten minutes into the trip on I-90, traveling at 80mph, the trailer lost a pin underneath which allows it to tilt for loading/dumping. The trailer went ape sh!t down the interstate, flailing left and right while my husband tried to keep the vehicle on the road. At one point the trailer literally landed on its side, slid along the ditch, and then flipped back up (like a cat, but enough about that). It was terrifying. I can't imagine how the people behind us felt-it really could have been a disaster! When we finally came to a stop, we feared the worst. The ice auger was on top of the two shacks, along with our pelican cooler. Somehow, the tarp did not tear beyond a small rip where the auger hit it. The only real casualty was a crack in the handle of the cooler (we'll call it a battle scar) and there were eggs leaking out of the cooler. Everything else was fine! I credit this tarp with saving not only our stuff, but maybe the lives of other people. We kept it as a memory of how Murphy's Law follows our family everywhere we freaking go.
