Love these! I wanted to protect my chickys from the wind and help keep them warm for the winter. I live in the country. But I didn’t want my coop to look like Jethro and Billy Bob put it together on Monday morning with a raging hangover. Nothing screams redneck like blue and grey tarps haphazardly flapping all over the place. So yes, esthetics were very important to me. As well as easy and inexpensive. I ended up ordering four clear tarps to surround my coop. I also used the ball bungees cause they seemed to be the easiest. The tarps arrived very quick. They have a nice thickness and quality to them which was consistent with all of them even though I ordered them separately. I haven’t seen any evidence of tearing even after some pretty severe wind and weather (mid Missouri). I’m happy with how they look and love the clear option. My birds are happy they aren’t sitting in the wind anymore too. Hoping these will last for several seasons but honestly if they don’t I’m ok buying another new set as it was cheaper than building another coop. I highly recommend! ... show more

I used this for my chicken run to keep the elements out and to keep the windy breezes to a minimum. We had 40 MPH winds out here the other day and this withstood during the windy time. I used washers and screws to hang it and it hasn't budged at all Very impressed with this product. It is sturdy and has mesh imbedded which makes it even easier to cut if I needed to and I did. Great product. I use it on my chicken and duck runs and my goats lean-to in the Winter to keep the snow and wind out. However, it ships FedEx and arrived two days late.

    • Cover the chicken coops!
We needed something to protect the chicken coops from wind and rain. Regular tarps are ugly, block out any light and shred after regular use. This “clear” tarp has been great for rain & wind blocking but still Letting light in. The chickens can relax, stay warm and dry. I have zip tied the grommets to the coop edges but can still roll up the tarp on the rare sunny days. This tarp is very water resistant but obviously not water proof- it’s not meant to hold water, just repel it. So far it’s doing a fantastic job and If the chickens had thumbs, they’d give it 2 thumbs up! ... show more

    • Very sturdy
This is the second one of these that I’ve bought. I use them to cover the sides of my chicken run during the winter. They have held up great. One of the tarps has been up for over a year and doesn’t show any signs of deteriorating.
