Excellent ladder & arrived quickly. The box was torn in spots (UPS is getting very sloppy), but the ladder was in perfect condition. When these types of ladders began coming out, Frontgate was the only place that carried such a ladder of quality. I purchased a 4-step version at that time, and it was too expensive then. At $479 for a 6-step (and lesser weight capacity), I simply can't justify purchasing it - even at their "sale" price. THIS ladder definitely checks all the right boxes, and at a fraction of the cost. I would love for it to be even less expensive, but under the circumstances - no regrets!

...and I have many. Why this will be a rave review (a thing I have seldom if ever done): It allows me to reach the highest lights on my vaulted ceilings and feel steady and safe. It is 20" shorter than the aluminum ladder which does same and is miserable to maneuver through the house without whacking furniture or walls. It fits under doorways even without tilt, it fits behind doors without showing. It is skinny. It is light (I'm a 100-pound senior female). It's a hallelujah.

This is my go to step ladder for everything. After purchasing an enormous 140 year old Victorian (Krasnesky Manor for Wayward Cats) with fifteen foot ceilings, we found we needed ladders for everything. Step ladders are an in-between necessity for reaching the upper cabinets in my kitchen, pantry, and butlerโs pantry. Sturdy but incredibly lightweight, this ladder folds and unfolds with ease. Folded, it takes up very little space to store. Additional positive: the handle at the top makes balancing on the top step quite safe. I need one for all three floors of my house. This is one the best values Iโve ever found on Amazon.

I researched light ladders for a very long time -- I do research mostly everything of importance. I have 2 ladders in my garage for heavy work but I needed something light for inside my home -- kitchen cupboards go to the ceiling. But I also needed something with an extension above the ladder so I could put a hand on it as I reached for what I needed. Remember when you reach be sure to keep your HIPS in side the frame of the ladder at all times. This ladder does what I need, it is light, helps me reach high places with care, can be put away in tight spots, and looks presentable if it has to be out for a while. You have Form & Function. It was wrapped reasonably well -- it was not damaged in transit. The reason I mention "reasonably well" is because some customers had damage on arrival. I think that depends on how far it had to travel. I am fairly close, maybe if it had to go a long distance I would pack it better.
