This is good quality thread for cross stitching and embroidery. It’s not super shiny and the texture is a bit rough, but I think that is to be expected. I used it to cross stitch my S-I-L’s name on a Christmas stocking and it turned out well.

The color is a beautiful metallic silver. I purchased to use to embroider a robot and wanted a metal look. It is a perfect color, be aware that the thread is a little fussy and be careful when stitching to lay the thread flat before pulling the stitch through. I am very happy with this purchase .

This is a cross between thread and wire. It’s more sturdy than thread, but is a tad stiff similar to a thin wire. I needed a large tassle for a graduation card box and two sets of these worked great and was a quick project. It has a nice, yellow metallic gold color as pictured.
