I like the shape of this chandelier, however like other reviewers I received a different patina than those depicted in the pictures. More of a rusty, orange undertone on the chain and arms. I put it up and could live with it, but will probably hit it with a little flat white paint. For the price I paid from Amazon Warehouse I am okay with that. This chandelier looks great in our dining room. I was going for a French country vibe with simple, clean lines and this light delivers. Plus, it was a great price! The six 40-watt bulbs throw off plenty of light, and it works great on a dimmer switch when you don't need as much light, or want to create a mood. The only negative is the dark brown cord, as others have pointed out. I wish the manufacturer had used a clear one instead, but I love the light anyway. ... show more

    • Beautiful! But does look 2 toned when lights are off.

This is an absolutely gorgeous chandelier. It is painted, not wood and also the base looks a different color than the arms but when it is on it all looks the same. My thought is it would cast shadows and make the arms look too dark if they were the same color. Overall I love it!

Everything is great about this except the metal color is not as pictured. I was very disappointed in that and am having to paint it. It was extremely yellow and beige and dirty looking. I wanted rustics but not like this. Everything else about it was great.

I order another light exactly like this but the arms were colored “rusted”. I’m very sensitive to colors and thought the rusted color was too orange/ yellow. The coloring on the arms of this light are perfect! More of a gray.
